Having a private onsen in the room is great, but I wasn’t expecting the food to be the true highlight of the experience! Both breakfast & dinner were superb, cooked with local ingredients using local recipes; Hoba Miso entering my top 10 of fav Japanese dishes.

Oyado Eitaro传统日式旅馆位于高山（Takayama）的奥飞騨温泉（Okuhida Onsen）区，提供2个不同温泉不断流淌的泉水和滑雪装备寄存区，设有内部的免费私人停车场，距离JR高山站（JR Takayama Station）有60分钟巴士车程。 最近的巴士站为距离传统日式旅馆有1分钟步行路程的平汤温泉巴士站（Hirayu Onsen Bus Stop）。Oyado... There was a lot to like about Oyado Eitaro. The location is very convenient - only a five (maybe less) minute walk from the bus center. We dropped off our luggage before checking in and later found the bags in our room. The dinner was a wonderful experience and was probably some of the best food we had on our trip. It was a great way to try many different dishes, all of them well prepared. Breakfast was a similar experience. Both the public and private onsens were very relaxing and very clean. Overall an amazing experience. If we ever come back to the area, we’ll be looking to rebook Oyado Eitaro.

Set amid a beautiful landscape in Okuhida Onsengo hot-spring area, Yamazatonoiori Soene offers beautiful rooms in a Japanese style with river or garden views. 英文接待一切都很顺利，房子门面看着小，但里面庭院挺深的。会非常推荐这个庭院。雪景很美很美

Located in the Okuhida Fukuji hot-spring area, Furusato offers accommodations with tatami (woven-straw) floors. Guests can enjoy the public indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths. A very lovely experience in snow covered surroundings. This was all around a perfect experience.

This was my first time staying in a ryokan and what a lovely experience in such a beautiful and peaceful space. Our room was very comfortable and I loved the traditional minimalist style. The staff were accommodating and professional. The food was fabulous, and after dinner we enjoyed a soak in the private onsen after a long day of walking around.
