Outside onsen was beautiful with a snow covered mountain view. Food excellent and service wonderful . Highly recommend the full dinner.

Stunning place between the mountains with natural hot springs. The hotel has secluded rooms with private pools with a wonderful view of the forest and garden. Spacious rooms with tatami mats, where they served us dinner and breakfast. The dinner was definitely a great experience and totally worth the money. The same goes for breakfast. Stuff was extremely attentive and really kind. Our biggest regret is that we have booked only one night.

The gastronomic experience was simply exceptional, with dishes that dazzled my taste buds. This stay has exceeded all my expectations and I can't wait to get back. Thank you for creating such a memorable and luxurious experience." PS: the thermal bath is extremely hot and relaxing!!!

The owners are superb. We can feel their devotes and well-welcomed minds. Language is not a problem. The place is very nice and cozy. Both dinner and breakfast are very good.

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoy authentic Japanese style meals and hot spring. The family run this hotel with a lot of thoughtful care and hospitality. The traditional Japanese meals were authentic and served with fresh Hilda beef and local vegetables. As a hot spring lover, the hot spring were beyond expectation. There are private room and shared room for hot spring, and they all have great view of quiet forest. (It was snowy the day I came, and the experience of bathing hot spring in a snowy forest was superb.) The owners are very friendly and kind!

There was a lot to like about Oyado Eitaro. The location is very convenient - only a five (maybe less) minute walk from the bus center. We dropped off our luggage before checking in and later found the bags in our room. The dinner was a wonderful experience and was probably some of the best food we had on our trip. It was a great way to try many different dishes, all of them well prepared. Breakfast was a similar experience. Both the public and private onsens were very relaxing and very clean. Overall an amazing experience. If we ever come back to the area, we’ll be looking to rebook Oyado Eitaro.

Located in the Okuhida Fukuji hot-spring area, Furusato offers accommodations with tatami (woven-straw) floors. Guests can enjoy the public indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths. A very lovely experience in snow covered surroundings. This was all around a perfect experience.

An 11 course dinner of delicious traditional Japanese food, private and shared hot springs baths made with wood and river stone, surrounded by the beautiful forest, all made for a highly memorable stay. I would highly recommend to others.
