Located within 200 metres of Akakura Onsen Ski Area and 7 km of Myokosuginohara Ski Area, The Address Akakura features rooms in Myoko. All rooms boast a kitchenette and a private bathroom. Great studio room with plenty of space. Nice bath and shower, comfortable bed. Didn't use the cooking facilities. Everything was spotlessly clean. The staff were very helpful, assisting me with a few problems that I had during my stay and were very pleasant to deal with.

Conveniently located a 4-minute walk from Akakura Onsen Ski Resort and a 4-minute walk from the bus terminal, Hunter Lodge offers free WiFi throughout the property and free luggage storage service. The family that runs the hotel and restaurant are the kindest, most helpful people we have ever met. We were constantly greeted by smiles, asked if we needed help, and our kids were even given gifts when we left.

Located in Akakura Onsen village and central to Myoko Ski Resorts, Myoko Ski Lodge in Akakura Village boasts beautiful views over the valley and free WiFi is provided. It’s a happy place! Geoff and Tania ensured that we were well taken care of throughout the stay! They tried their best to pick us up from the train station even though there was a heavy snowfall on the night we arrived. All staffs were kind and friendly. Others who lived at the lodge were also very nice and sociable. I’m really glad to meet new friends from different parts of the world. Started the day with breakfast prepared by the team, then went snowboarding — ask Geoff to recommend ski areas if you’re unsure! Get into the onsen after a whole day of snow then head out to the village (about 7min walk) for dinner after — similarly, if you’re unsure where to eat, ask! Hang out at the common area to chill, chat, watch a movie, play games with affordable beers etc! Maximise your time here if you can! We were really sad to leave and wanted to stay an extra day.. ): till next time! Offering traditional Japanese-style rooms, Akakura Akarien is only a 5-minute walk from Akakura Hot Spring Ski Area. JR Myoko Kogen Train Station is a 10-minute drive away. - 2min walk to chairlift and ski rental places, and loads of cute restaurants - Great hot breakfasts every morning - Traditional japanese rooms - Carlo was really flexible in doing a concierge service to get us to other local resorts and the train station which was really helpful and cheaper than the taxi!
