Mga hotel sa Takao, Kyoto

Nag-aalok ng mga Japanese-style room na may mga tanawin ng ilog at ng en suite bath, 600 metro ang Takao Kanko Hotel mula sa Jingo-ji Temple. The food was amazing and staff were great.

Sa kahabaan ng Kiyotakigawa River, nag-aalok ang Momojiya Annex ng mga tradisyonal na kuwartong may pribadong open-air na paliguan at mga tanawin ng gubat. Amazing food (evening and breakfast), bathing in private outside tube while listening to the stream below, very friendly and helpful stuff making us feel right at home

A 10-minute drive from Kinkaku-ji Temple, Ryokan Yamazaki offers a hot public bath and serves breakfast and traditional dinners for an additional fee. I was traveling together with a friend and she preferred to book a place a bit outside of the city. The place is still very accessible by bus (stop is almost in front of the house), or even the tram if (you don’t mind a 15 minutes walk). The staff was very kind and welcoming and you will easily get along with English, if you don’t speak Japanese. The rooms were tidy and comfortable and would also recommend to take the Japanese breakfast in the house. Cannot judge the dinner since we usually returned late and ate somewhere else. Highly recommend the ryokan!
