Hotel Okura Kyoto Okazaki Bettei -Age Requirement 12 over- ligger i Kyoto och har ett fitnesscenter, en trädgård, en restaurang och en bar. Loved it all, the staff, rooms that were perfectly clean to afternoon complimentary drinks. Would recommend but it is a short bus ride to city which is absolutely no problem as bus is across road and come frequently.

Before starting the trip, tadashi-san got really involved with us and helped us with all our questions. He was really kind and helpful. His guesthouse is incredible, an authentic ryokan experience. Please if you are going to stay in Tadashi's guesthouse be polite and kind, he is a really good person and he will help you with everything. His wife Yuki-san is also lovely!

The hosts were the nicest and most welcoming people. The husband dropped us off at the train station in the morning. Room had a view ok the local temple and facilities were very clean. Calm area, nice to get away from the tourist chaos. I highly recommend this guest house.

Situated in Kyoto, 800 metres from Heian Shrine, Hotel Material features rooms with free WiFi access. This teeny boutique hotel had all the amenities needed for our stay and more! Small touches, like the deck of uno cards in the room, and the friendliness of Jeronimo on the front desk, made Material feel like home. The bed was also the comfiest of our trip in Japan!

The resort hotel in Kyoto and offering free WiFi throughout, The Westin Miyako features indoor pool, a fitness center and spa treatments. Loved the location, the room size was large, the property was beautiful, the onsen was amazing, the gardens are lovely!
