Quiet neighborhood, small independent hotel. This is a calm and peaceful area, the staff was extremely helpful. The room are really small, no desk, just a bed & small refrigerator. Small bathroom. It was absolutely perfect. We were in a busy area of Osaka the day before, this was a perfect wind down, sleep & decompress place

This boutique is located by the River. Our suite had a clear view over local shrines and the river delta. Imperial Palace is 5min walking distance. Shimogamo Shrine, a 10 minute walk. Concierge booked a three day tour guide for us who took great care of us. We booked last minute and could not get good restaurant or guide reservations. Rio took care of everything. Lovely property, manager showed us other suites too, spacious and home feeling.

Tadashi-san and Yuki-san were without question the best hosts we've had in a while. Their care and help were outstanding and the house itself was extremely clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We felt at home for our nine nights, I will definitely be back if I have the chance!

Tadashi insisted on picking me up from the train station, on his day off as well. Himself and Yuki are lovely people and very welcoming. Everthing is meticulously clean and the bed was so comfortable, i had the first decent nights sleep since arriving in Japan 6 days previous. There is a view of a Buddhist temple out of the bedroom window and the neighbourhood where the property is seems safe and quiet.
