Well set in the centre of Kobe, Dormy Inn Kobe Motomachi Natural Hot Springs provides air-conditioned rooms, a restaurant, free WiFi and a spa and wellness centre. The location was duable, about 10-15 minutes walk from the subway station. What I really liked about the hotel was the hot springs. It was clean and pleasant. Got crowded at night time but the place was never packed. Didn't shower in the room for the entire stay! The hotel provides complimentary snacks too.

Set in the Kobe City Centre district of Kobe, Candeo Hotels Kobe Tor Road is a 4-star hotel that is 6-minutes away from Sannomiya Station on foot. Good location, in the middle of 2 train stations. Friendly and helpful staff who speaks good English. They helped us to fill in the form to send our luggages to our next location. Onsen on top floor and breakfast has western and Japanese choices.

Situated just a 3-minute walk from JR Motomachi Staion, Kobe Motomachi Tokyu REI Hotel provides simple rooms with natural colours. This ideally located hotel had, like most Japanese hotels, many free extras. A library of LP's as well as a turntable to play music in the lobby, a drink machine with beer, and a small restaurant for breakfast. Within walking distance of the train station, around the corner from Chinatown and 15 min walk from the waterfront. The staff was so helpful, suggesting places to see and how to get there.

Featuring a coffee shop and Japanese restaurant, Kobe Plaza Hotel is right next to JR Motomachi Station. Its stylish rooms include free broadband internet and a flat-screen satellite TV. Traditional but tasteful interiors, friendly staff, nice cosy coffee area.

Only a 5-minute walk from JR Motomachi Train Station, R&B Hotel Kobe Motomachi offers accommodations with a simple complimentary breakfast. the staff were great, super nice .

Smile Hotel Kobe Motomachi is within a 2-minute walk from JR Motomachi Train Station. It offers modern rooms with free internet access and a flat-screen satellite TV. Very convenient because it's near the station, and it's beside china town. The staff are so attentive and nice. We'll come back for sure.
