Yadoya Tsubaki is aantrekkelijk gelegen in de wijk Asamushi Onsen in Aomori, en ligt op 15 km van station Aomori, 18 km van Aomori Camp Garrison and Defense Hall en 19 km van Shin-Aomori Station. Lovely welcoming staff Very kind and helpful at all times if we had questions. Were able to reserve the onsen downstairs on both nights at a chosen time, and at one stage we had a short onsen in upstairs one (not reserved). Basic in room facility with own toilet and basin (cold water). Make sure you have any showering or bathing done before 8.30am or after lunch time, otherwise you’ll be sponge bathing in morning in the room, with cold water. Really comfortable beds. Beautiful tatami flooring. Nice view also.

Kaisenkaku ligt in de wijk Asamushi Onsen van Aomori, op 19 km van Sannai-Maruyama site en op 2 km van Asamushi Aquarium. If you like Japanese food, onsen, quiet atmosphere, than stay here on meal inclusive rate. I did nothing but relaxing, since there is not much to do in this small village, outskirts of City of Aomori.

Yanagi No Yu biedt een prachtig warmwaterbronbad in de buitenlucht met uitzicht op de rustige tuin en serveert traditionele kaiseki-diners met meerdere gangen. Absolutely gorgeous. I love the garden, even in its winter state, and the outdoor bath and sauna was just amazing with the flurries of snow around. The staff were amazing, and the driver took us to the aquarium and back on our last morning before we took the train back to Aomori. The history is very special, and the food was also spectacular - it was so lovely to experience this Japanese cooking.
