Raffles Jakarta is strategically located in the central business district of Jakarta. I never write reviews but making an exception for this hotel that exceeded my expectations. Lovely staff throughout with authentic Indonesian kindness and service. Beautiful interiors marrying modern light-filled and spacious spaces with classic and luxurious splashes of gold and color. Beautiful mosaic tableaux and sculptures from a local artist. Huge and delicious breakfast buffet including sushi and icecream! We were in the Artist Suite, perfect size for a couple and child, separate art-filled living room, the extra bed was amazingly comfortable. A dedicated butler. Beautiful outdoor pool, 24 hr gym and long walking path in the garden. Pro tip: walk less than 5 minutes into the adjoining Lotte Mall to find Kokuo Platinum for an amazing reflexology massage for 1 hour for less than USD 10. We gave up our usual preferred luxury hotel brand with initials FS for Raffles Jakarta and are so happy we did - we'll definitely return.

Gran Melia Jakarta is located in the city's business district of Kuningan, just 4 km from Kota Kasablanka and 5 km from Pacific Place. Probably one of the hotel in Jakarta thats spacious. Always love satying here. Am a sucker for hospitality, they have one of the best in Jakarta.
