The room was perfect. Especially in the summer. We had been traveling the east side of France. We needed rest! The AC, the fan they provide-I was so happy. The bed, the pillows-pure comfort. The shower was life changing and exactly what you need after walking around all day. The little signs were cute and funny. The TV had sound. The refrigerator actually worked and kept my water cold! Was stocked with some great refreshments for purchase. The furnishings were beautiful. The location was right near markets, historical sites,restaurants and shopping. The staff was very accommodating when we were thinking of extending our time. Just absolutely perfect and wish we had stayed longer. I have never felt this rested after a long trip! Thank you from this weary, heat-exhausted traveler.

Precisely renovated in 2023, the Academy offers travelers who stay there a unique hotel experience at the heart of the History of Knowledge. Location was excellent. Family room was spacious, clean & comfortable. We would stay again!

Le Phénix Hôtel is located in the old town of Lyon and offers air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi. It is 100 metres from the nearest bus stop that leads to the city centre. Excellent location, close to tourists attractions. Lulu at the front desk been great,appreciated all her help. Highly recommend for anyone who want to have great time in Lyon.
