Upgraded to a Nile view room and it was totally worth it. Beautiful views of the city and spacious room. Hotel staff was fantastic and location was perfect.

Sofitel El Gezirah is a 5-star luxury hotel with a private promenade along the Nile. We love staying at the sofitel because you can see the water from all rooms and have a beautiful view over cairo. Booking rooms at a higher level is very important though and makes a big difference. Breakfast buffet is absolutly great and really worth it.
