Ideally located in Santo Domingo, La Aldea offers air-conditioned rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi and a terrace. Friendly and helpful owner Francky and all the staff, comfortable room and great spacious bathroom, abundant and delicious breakfast (not included but great price). We stayed only 1 night but also recommended for longer stays, excellent location in the colonial area.

Hotel Villa Colonial is located in the heart of Santo Domingo's historic centre, and offers an outdoor pool, tropical gardens and a charming patio. The air-conditioned rooms include cable TV. Wow. This hotel goes straight to my top 5 places I've ever stayed. I've traveled a lot over the years, and stayed at cheap hostels, as well as more expensive hotels. I think Villa Colonial is just amazing and unique. First, when I arrived I was offered something to drink, showed around the hotel and told about the architecture and art. When the bossguy (I'm so sorry I can't remember your name!) took me to my room, the first thing I noticed was a clean and fresh smell. Towels and sheets smelled so good, and everything was very clean. There was a tray full of local goods, like rum, nuts, sweets and a welcome note. Over the stay, the room was very cozy and the bed with the big pillows so comfortable. I think I got a different room than I booked (not complaining), and I had my private balcony, which was a cool touch. I was going trough a hard time personally and didn't actually leave the room much, so I'm glad I chose this hotel, because it was the perfect place to just recharge, chill and be in peace. The hotel itself was a beautiful colonial building full of art, plants and nice sofas to sink to during the days. The front door was locked all the time, and I felt very safe. The breakfast was delicious with good coffee, and all the employees were super friendly and helpful. The one day I went out, bossguy gave me good tips where to go to. Altogether he seemed genuinely interested and empathetic about his guests and running the hotel. You are a gem, thank you!

Hotel Class Colonial is set in Santo Domingo, 400 metres from Mercado Modelo. The property is situated 1 km from Puerto Santo Domingo and a 17-minute walk from Malecon. Very friendly staff and the terrace is very nice.

Set in a historic building in Santo Domingo's Colonial Zone, once home to a former president, the adult-only Casa Sanchez is within 1 minute's walk of Conde street. All the staff was very professional and made us feel welcomed. The beer they gave us during the check in was delicious. We stayed at the British Suite and we're satisfied with the room and spaces. The lady that helped us with the check in was very friendly.

In the hall you'll find a proper tour that goes into the common areas of the facility, telling the story of the building and the town, with beautiful historic maps of Santo Doming's evolution.

The hotel is in the center of the city. it is really easy to move by walking oyó the touristic places, and if you want to go far it is easy to take an Uber or a taxi. The room is very comfortable and breakfast ir all you need to start visiting San Domingo.
