Offering a terrace and a shared lounge, Kleiner Rosengarten has rooms with air conditioning, free WiFi and a cable flat-screen TV. The room was great, BUT instructions for key things, like the AC, were only in German, so not tourist friendly. Similarly, good luck reading the sign at the unmanned reception... also only in German. It said to call a mobile number (a long distance call, generally) it was also an unmanned mailbox. Eventually I figured out to walk in through the restaurant around the corner where I was greeting in, you guessed it, German (and Italian): I speak neither. So, the instructions for getting into the hotel need help, but once it, it was fabulous. I cannot comment on the restaurant, as we ate elsewhere, but it looked busy.

The reception manager Tuku is very friendly and tries to help. The rooms are clean, cleaning is regular, and it’s immediately noticeable that they try to keep the service at a high level. This hotel is just a 4-minute walk from Mannheim Central Station. It offers soundproofed rooms with free Wi-Fi. The customer service was great. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel was clean. They helped us to carry our luggage upstairs. The check out time was perfect.
