Located in San Jose, Alameda Cariari features an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi access and a tour desk. The Hotel is BEAUTIFUL! Super great value for the price! The lobby is amazing, and the room was clean, modern, and comfortable. The beds were so nice we overslept and missed breakfast. Not far off the main road, but the neighborhood was very peaceful and quiet. One of the highlights of our trip.

Terrazas de Golf Boutique Hotel offers direct access to Cariari Golf Course and transportation to Juan Santamaría International Airport, which is 5 km away. Clean, quiet, cozy, hospitable, safe, good value for money. I also like that they are environmentally friendly, using solar energy, electric cars, recycling, etc.

Just a 5-minute drive from Juan Santamaria International Airport, the City Express San José Aeropuerto offers free private parking and a gym. The functional modern rooms include free Wi-Fi. Friendly and helpful staff, nice room and great breakfast! This is the best place to stay in San Jose if you are traveling back or to the airport. Staff is great, helped us to save storage our surfboards and got us a nice transfer to the airport.

The room was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. We were there only for one night prior to a flight back to the US. They had someone right at the hotel doing COVID antigen testing and that was very convenient ($40 pp). The Enterprise/Alamo rental return is only about 2 miles away and therefore very convenient for dropping off our car in the morning. The pool and jacuzzi are lovely though we were not there long enough to use them.

On the outskirts of San José, just a 10 minutes' drive from Juan Santamaria International Airport, Wyndham San Jose Herradura offers 3 outdoor pools and a casino. I loved the place, is huge, and has a pool, and a pool table (billiard), sometimes you can get breakfast included, and there is a casino as well.

A former hacienda set on a 30-acre coffee plantation, this hotel features 2 outdoor swimming pools, a golf driving range and a coffee-inspired spa. Downtown San Jose is about 15 minutes’ drive away. Everything was perfect- Was travelling for work and go glad I chose this Marriott. Will be my go-to place in Costa Rica and it is close to the airport!
