English-speaking owners who are most welcoming. They helped me with booking the boat trip and all my enquiries. Rooms are quite big and clean. All in all: Great stay.

Riverside Inn Guilin byder på udsigt over floden samt billetter til Guilin eller Yangshuo. Det er en rolig oase, ideelt beliggende i Guilins centrum. The location is very close to bus stops from either Guilin West or North train stations. It is also within walking distance to a few major sites. Some buses also stop close to the sites, for $2 Chinese Yuan per person, it is a very good deal. Need to have exact change for the bus ride. Some older bus do not have the means for electronic payment. We stayed in two different rooms, River view with tatami and deluxe family room. Both were very good rooms, excellent water pressure and rain shower was a delight! The room facing the River was a bit noisy during early evening but was not a problem later in the night, when all activities in the nearby park finished and participants dispersed. The deluxe family room, which was facing the inner alley, was very quiet. We did not have breakfast included with the room, but nearby are eateries and a very good bakery. A supermarket is also nearby. We also appreciate the excellent and thorough information provided by the hotel regarding how to get to the hotel from whatever mode of transportation one is taking.

Guilin Rong Lake Aroma Tea House (det tidligere Jing Guan Ming Lou Museum Hotel) ligger i byens centrum, lige over for Two Rivers and Four Lakes. Location just opposite the lake and walking distance to the pedestrian street. Reception Staffs speaks good english and are helpful in guiding places to eat and visits.

Jolie Vue Boutique Hotel Guilin (Golden Oriole Hotel Guilin) ligger lige over for den ikoniske Elephant Trunk Hill og ved den maleriske Li-flod. Der er gratis wi-fi overalt på stedet. Pleasantly surprised that Jolie Vue Boutique Hotel was clean and modern in literally the middle of the city right on the river and a block away from the pedestrian walking street. Hotel staff were kind and helpful. Agree that there’s no need to go into Elephant trunk hill park because you get a great view from the hotel rooftop eating breakfast. Exceeded our expectations!

Sheraton Guilin Hotel is on the banks of the Li River located in Guilin city center, 45 minutes from Guilin Liangjiang International Airport. The hotel features a fitness centre and outdoor pool. The location was superb, the hotel was immaculate and the staff were were friendly and efficient. We were assisted by Candy at the front desk and she was absolutely brilliant. Thank you.
