The area is perfect for exploring the lake on one of the numerous shared bikes or ebikes. The highlight though is the owner, a generous and helpful person who will go out of his way to provide for your needs. The fact that he speaks perfect English is a bonus too! We had an excellent time, and the hotel was wonderful with a seaview that was absolutely exquisite, beautiful. I have traveled to many places, and this was our first time in Dali, China. What a great experience. I am already planning to return, and I can honestly say that our stay was UNPARALLELED! To say the least, it was refreshing to see such kindness, care, attentiveness, professionalism, and overall joyful demeanor from the entire staff. The activities and nearby restaurants were excellent, and I must mention that the sunset at the local coffee cafe was breathtaking and a must do local attraction. The hotel serves breakfast, tea, and evening treats that were all delicious. Overall, the Dali Oriental Seaview Hotel surpassed my expectations and was a positive, memorable difference in making our journey away from home filled with good times, happy memories, and nice excursions The stay was uniquely welcoming, fun, and relaxing all at the same time. I located the unparalleled Dali Oriental Seaview Hotel on Booking.com, which was a good thing since the hotel is hidden away in a manner that you would not imagine. There may be a few steps to climb, but there is a small elevator, and good things are often revealed in different ways. All this to say, thank you, to the hotel, for sharing this hidden gem. Who would have imagined such an exquisite, unique place to stay.

Located in Dali, Clouds Cross Erhai Seaview Hotel offers a garden. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. We had a great stay thanks to the amazing and kind staff working there, who accommodated every request. The location is really nice if you do not want to stay in the commercial old town which is anyway about 10 minutes by cab. Breakfast was also good. Thanks for the great stay!

Great location, just 10mins drive from train station and 20mins to airport, a good place if you do transfer / short stay in Dali, because it is a bit far from all the sightseeing place except Erhai Lake. My room is well equipted and has beautiful lake view, which is quite beautiful. Staff is friendly.
