Set in Santiago and with Patio Bellavista reachable within 600 metres, Casa Bellavista Hotel offers concierge services, rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi and a terrace. This was my favourite lodging during my six weeks in South America so I am compelled to write a detailed review! From the moment I checked in for my two night stay the staff could not have been more helpful or welcoming. They created such a nice relaxed atmosphere (especially Nao and Maria). My room was delightful - a big window so the room felt light and airy, extremely comfortable cosy bed, a jug of drinking water on the bedside table, fabulous shower with good water pressure and endless hot water. The room was charmingly decorated and both it and the bathroom were spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious - freshly squeezed juice, cappuccino, eggs, fruit - in a bright spacious breakfast room. There is a fabulous outdoor patio to chill out in also so the whole vibe is really relaxing. The building is completely secure as they have a 24 hour reception so whoever is on front desk duty is buzzing people in and out (I liked that there were no random people wandering into the premises). The area is quiet and I felt totally fine walking around it on my own. There are restaurants and cafes a few streets away (I recommend Galindos - yum) and the neighbourhood is pretty and tranquil. It didn't feel like being in a city to be honest.

The Hip Hotel Santiago er staðsett í Santiago og er í innan við 500 metra fjarlægð frá La Chascona. I loved everything about the Hip Hotel - perfect location in Bellavista Patio filled with restaurants and bars. Yes, it’s a bit noisy at night, but I enjoyed the music. 7 min walk from the Metropolitan park and the zoo. The district is crowded at night, but I always felt safe and comfortable. The hotel is located on the 2nd floor, it is very private and cozy. They serve breakfast every morning. The room is pretty spacious and modern, I was offered a huge bed made of 2 single beds and a bottle of wine for free. The staff is friendly and helpful, I checked in late at night and wasn’t able to pay straightforward as I had to visit the back to exchange money, and they gave me enough time to do everything.

Hotel Sonetto er 3 stjörnu hótel í Santiago, 800 metrum frá Santa Lucia-hæðinni. Boðið er upp á útisundlaug, verönd og veitingastað. It's a nice, boutique hotel. The rooms are nice, the bathroom is also nice, although very small, there is hot water in the shower, the air conditioning works, the internet is OK. In the hotel there is a swimming pool (water is freezing cold!) with some tables and chairs, coffee is served all day long. The breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant, it is tasty, varied and colourful.

Tremo Santa María 281 er vel staðsett í Recoleta-hverfinu í Santiago, 800 metra frá Santa Lucia-hæðinni, 1,3 km frá La Chascona og 1,1 km frá Patio Bellavista. Small cosy hotel. Staff was always available. Pool was working (but a bit dirty). Very nice smell and atmosphere inside the hotel. Nice room and comfortable bed.

Lib Hotel Bellavista er staðsett í Santiago, 400 metra frá La Chascona, og býður upp á bar og útsýni yfir borgina. I could see that owner who created this hotel wanted to do smth beautiful, comfy and for affordable price. So room is small however very cozy and u have everything you need. However it’s visible that staff is not really into work there. Lady who met me at the reception was sweet but I could see tiredness in her eyes. But still she helped me with my backpack.

Located within the Bellavista neighbourhood in Santiago, Hotel Loreto is an eco-friendly property offering private rooms with free WiFi. The property features a barbecue for guest use. The hotel staff was very accommodating! They let us store our luggage early and gave us space to freshen up after a long travel day. They gave great recommendations and arranged a large taxi for us and got us a great rate to the airport.
