Christina was amazing! We are Americans and don’t speak a lick of Portuguese and although her English wasn’t strong either, (but it’s 2023 and phones and google exist) so that wasn’t a problem AT ALL. She made sure we comfortable and had fun. She checked on us regularly. The location is safe and is in walking distance of great food, bars and shopping. I kinda didn’t want to do a review because I wanted to keep this hidden gem to myself, but Chris deserves all the raving reviews she can get. Thank you so much for making our Rio experience so amazing!

Located in the historical and cultural heart of Rio de Janeiro, this 5-star boutique hotel offers a unique concept of tropical design and panoramic views of Rio de Janeiro’s bay. Staff is really friendly. I also quite like the hotel tour they offered. Restaurant is amazing.

Tião Botelho Guest House in Rio de Janeiro provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge and barbecue facilities. Alberto is the nicest man in Rio! Did everything we could possibly ask for (and more) to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Perfect for an authentic rio experience in lapa. Good and cheap nearby restaurants and party atmosphere on the weekends. Doesn't speak English (we dont speak portuguese) but more than makes up for it with enthusiasm and Google translate.

Hotel Americano sijaitsee Rio de Janeirossa, Lapan historiallisessa kulttuurikaupunginosassa. Kaikissa huoneissa on ilmastointi ja kaapeli-tv. Pysäköinti on ilmaista. My room was large and my bathroom had been newly renovated and had a large jacuzzi. I also had a small entrance room that had a fridge and computer table. I was comfortable and overall enjoyed my stay. The location is relatively central although you do have to walk a bit to the metro.
