The location was great--small town Hawaii. It was a mile or so north to a grocery market and food trucks were nearby. I few low key restaurants were available, too.

Unique, cozy, and sustainable stay. Very cute bathroom set up with a great shower with warm water and good pressure. You really feel in touch with nature especially at night with the stars. Less than a 5 min drive into Haleiwa which is a great town for food, shopping, etc.

My friend and I stayed in Cabin 7. I've been to many hostels in many states and found this one to be just fine---I didn't expect much more than what was provided. The Manager and caretaker were as cordial as any Hotelier, and the LOCATION, the LOCATION, and the LOCATION exceeded my expectations. I remember when a bunk-bed in a 6-bed 'dorm'/bedroom cost $15.00 per night and a private room for two was $30.00 (=in Waipouli, on Kauai, fully restored and re-painted, etc., a few months after Hurricane Iniki)
