Lund is a charming city in southern Sweden. I particularly enjoyed the beautiful botanic garden. Lund has walkable city center and a friendly student atmosphere. Lund is a great place for students looking for a vibrant and historic city or tourists wanting a beautiful and safe base to explore the region.

Lund was basically a college town, and very old college town. Lund University was established in 1666, one of the oldest and most prestigious Universities in Nordic Europe. Lund is a very cozy town, with three Systembolaget (only place we can buy wines).
The headquarters building of the university was gorgeously beautiful. The Faculty of Sociology of Law (independent from the Faculty of Law) accpets ca. 400 students every year. One of the must-visit places is the Lunds Domkyrka (Cathedral), which was build in 1145. Every place is within walking distance from the Central Station.
Lund is about 40 minute-train-ride from the Copenhagen Airport and 10 minute-ride from Malmo. Malmo is also one of the cozy town you must visit and enjoy (a little larger and more modernaized than Lund).

Lund is a pretty medieval city with a lot of history.
Lund is a pretty medieval city with a lot of history. I was inly there for less than a day, so bot a lot of detail, but:
- the domkyrka is worth seeing (special mention of the crypt and the astronomical clock)
- Kulturen is very well presented - it's a sgame i didn't gave time to see the outdoor part
- the botanical garden is very nice
- food-wise: I recommend Saluhallen and Broder Jakobs Bakery in Klostergatan, and I also enjoyed the salad i got from Waynes Coffee
I would not recommend visiting Lund on a Sunday afternoon, though- a lot of interesting places will be closed.
Lund is quite walkable and has good bike paths.

Nice cozy town to walk around, even in wintertime.
Nice cozy town to walk around, even in wintertime. In the spring, however, everything blooms, and it's even more charming. Visit Sankt Hans Backar for an overview of the city and don't miss the botanical gardens. When you get tired you can relax and enjoy Swedish fika in one of the many cafes or pastry shops.
The hotel is charming and the staff are generally really nice. Lund is beautiful and there are plenty of nice restaurants in the immediate area around the hotel. We ate lunch in the hotel restaurant which was nice but also a bit pricey.
The parking facilities are a bit away from the hotel, but they worked well and were cheap. However we were never informed of the option of entering and exiting through another hotel which made the whole thing a bit bothersome since my husband does not walk very well.
My first visit to Lund . My son who studies at the University guided me to the Hotel as it was conveniently located and close his accomodation. It was very good suggestion indeed! Specifically loved the dining layout! Excellent breakfast spread. Dinner was unexpected to be free but it was and a very good spread ! Amazing Mushroom soup , the salads and the vegetarian options that were least expected! The TV lounge and reading room were well laid out and plush !
Firstly the owner was super reachable, always replied fast. I have chosen this apartment instead of staying in a hotel in order to feel local vibes. the studio was spacious and cozy. I did not use the kitchen much but there were all amenities in it. it is possible to use the bicycle with the key which i wandered around the city by bike all the time. the neighbourhood was peaceful and safe like rest of the city.
Room: very comfortable bed and sheet, probably my best stay in Sweden.
Hotel staff: very helpful, friendly and professional.
Location: very convenient about 5 min of walking from Lund C. and quite neighborhood which is good
Breakfast: servers from 8:00 every thing you could expected I have tasted a red juice I think it’s strawberry juice was very good.
Liked the location and the security system in the evening. To enter the building, I had to swipe my card. Then, I had to swipe my card again to enter the corridor where my room was located and finally swipe my card to get into my room. The location of the hotel is great. It is across the street from the Lund C train station (a 5 minute walk).
The hotel is in an old town house tight in the center. The location is fantastic, everything you want to see in Lund is 5-minutes walk away. It’s located in a quiet road. The building is very nice, with rooms tiny but comfortable. The bed vas very comfortable and the room vas very clean. The bathroom was timy but ok.
My room was large and cozy, water kettle and good quality tea, which I very much appreciated. Breakfast was good and contained what you would expect in Sweden. The staff was nice and accommodated my request for checking out a little later. I would stay here again!
Located in a quiet area a couple of minutes walk from the station. Queen size bed very comfortable. Breakfast buffet very good value, despite the lack of pickled herring. They let you borrow their bicycles, which is great value in a city like Lund.
the location was perfect for our stay in Lund. our oldest son had his masters graduation and the suite was near the university. we were also in the heart of town which made it fun to walk around. A perfect time!
Spacious rooms, clean and fresh beddings, close to bus stations although it's pretty walkable from Lund centrum, staff are very friendly, they have a good spread on their breakfast buffet.
It's a nice city hotel right in the center of Lund, close to the botanical garden. The room is spacious, with a small kitchenette as well. The bathroom is decent with a nice shower.
Everything was perfect: the room, the location, the breakfast.
The staff was very kind and professional.
The hotel is near a tram stop which makes moving around Lund very easy.
The single room seemed small at first but the layout was just right. Breakfast and dinner included. The hotel is closed to a park, and walking distance to grocery stores.
Great morning breakfast buffet, phenomenal location. Walking distance from central train station, easy walk to the best parts of Lund, charming cobblestone streets.
Fantastic BnB, great value for money. Clever design, great balcony and breakfast topped by an absolute fantastic host. Will definitely stay again when in Lund
