Great spot in Victoria, amazing views from the accommodation and next door to one of the best restaurants we visited in Mahe, Marie Antoinette. Room was very comfortable and breakfast provided was really good with a great selection of food.

EVERY THING at this establishment was excellent. From reception to leaving I was well taken care of. This place reminded me of an old Cuban Plantation Home. It was beautiful, open and with grate views of Victoria. I was only there one day and was very well surprised. I HOPE that I can get back there one day.

The owner was very helpful when we checked it. We only stayed two of the three nights. The owners were easy to work with. Water and snacks were provided. Parking was provided & the rooms were clean. The surrounding forest was a lush tropical paradise. They provided a nice breakfast.

Cleanliness, view and the owners made us feel welcomed
Victoria city is a clean and safe city. City start winding down as early as 5pm. Central Market, museum, beaches around, great local and international foods. Easy to navigate the city. Car rental available at good price.

Variety of shops. Safe. Cultural. Food is expensive. Beautiful lush terrain. Humid. Bus is best way to travel. Reasonable. When you change buses you have to pay fare again (12 rupees). Cabs are expensive. Many pharmacies if required. Locals are friendly, helpful. Bus service good M- F and Sunday. Minimal Saturday. Not much open Sunday.

Victoria was easily accessed, there were many markets and most people spoke English. There are frequent rain showers that lasted a few minutes which is a relief as it is hot and humid most of the time. The restaurants were great but for South Africans it worked out expensive to eat and drink. There were far too many cars on the road and simply no parking available in Victoria. lovely sights and scenery . The roads that lead over the mountain give way to absolutely breath taking views. The local busses and their drivers were a menace on the road but they provided value for money public transport.

Not the type of capitol city many of us are used too.
Not the type of capitol city many of us are used too. You'll see it all within 2 hours. The tourist offer is pretty slim at best, while any tourist related item prices are very steep. In Seychelles, it's the beaches you'll enjoy, not the city atmosphere.

Victoria is ok, but we spent most of our time renting an apartment (Villa Bella) on the North East point, which was perfect for us. The North East point is far away from any touristy areas, so you'll need a car, which I'd recommend anyways to go to the different beaches, trails, supermarket etc. So stay elsewhere than Victoria is my advice!

As the capital of Seychelles, Victoria is a must see.
As the capital of Seychelles, Victoria is a must see. It is the cultural centre of the country. But the restaurants are very average to poor.
Be prepared to pay tourist rates for everything and forget about coffee, there is none that is drinkable.
For those in a hurry, two days is enough to see Victoria.
Maka Bay was a wonderful surprise for us.
Staff is kind and always available to help with suggestions and reservations. The owner also shared with us a lists of activities which were taking place during our stay.
The room was super clean, with a beautiful view on the ocean and lot of space.
It was full equipped in case you want to prepare your meals.
We spent 5 incredible days at Maka Bay and we fully recommend it.
It’s important to rent a car if you want to visit the island
Hilltop Boutique Hotel is located at the top of a steep hill just minutes ago from the center of Victoria. The staff was welcoming, helpful and warm. I arrived on a Sunday and the gent who welcomed me nicely indicated a takeaway place I could fetch food from. They also helped me organizing a very nice tour of the island with Mr Albest. The breakfast was copious and good. I personally loved the balcony which had a good view and furniture on which I spent evenings reading.
Spacious apartment right in the Victoria city centre. Walking distance to the main attractions in the city centre and to restaurants. To visit the popular beaches, would need to get a vehicle or public transport.
The apartment itself has a living room, kitchen and balcony in addition to the bedroom and bathroom. It was clean and super comfortable and we had a great stay here, would definitely come again!
Good location, especially if you are by car. But even if not, you will find shops, cafes, beaches - everything within walking distance. Large bright rooms with beautiful view from the balcony. Well equipped kitchen, beach towels are provided. Vanessa (cleaning lady) will treat you every day with some yummy things :-)
Comfortable parking area for 3 vehicles
You can use gas-based barbeque on request
The hosts, Therese and her family, were lovely! They went the extra mile in every way, including delicious coconuts on arrival, discounted care hire and transfer from the port/airport. It was a delightfully calm and quiet location, and the facilities were modern, clean and comfortable. It was walking distance to the beach and there were small supermarkets nearby. I would definitely stay here again!
Our stay at Villa Panoramic was perfect. The room was very clean and was cleaned everyday. We enjoyed the breakfast and loved the pool. Ashley the host is just an awesome person, she made sure we had everything we needed and we didn't meet anyone more knowledgeable about Seychelles than her throughout our trip :). We will definitely come back here on our next visit. Hats off!
The apartment is very big and well cleaned, facilitated and designed. We, family of 5, enjoined it very much!
The location is great, in the middle of the center.
Big thanks to Clara, the hotel manager, who assisted us with prints and covid tests and allowed us to checkout late!!!! because of our flight changes. Thank you Clara for such hospitality, we very much appreciate it.
The staff are very friendly ”Miss Nhi”, the location and the vide of the hotel is very relaxing and luxurious, the villa is spacious and well designed with latest technology, it has large pool facing the other villas and wonderful seats plants outside, bed is comfortable and cozy. The toilet has a bidet which is very useful. Breakfast and food of the restaurant was yummy.
Everything was perfect, the location is beautiful, you’re close by beaches and the bus stop is right next to the accommodation. The family who owns the accommodations are absolutely wonderful, super helpful and friendly. We loved our two weeks stay in here and will definitely be back!
Conveniently situated for airport and dock. We used it for a one night stay before joining a cruise. It’s not a resort hotel or near a beach but perfect for what we needed and extremely good value for money. Great breakfast, comfortable bed and extremely helpful and friendly staff.
Absolutely everything.. appartment was clean, spacious, kitchen is equipped with all necessities.. Personnel was exceptionally nice and helpful.. This is the place to go when visiting Malé, we are recommending to all explorers who like to travel with bit of a comfort.
Daphne is so nice and of humour. She helped with car rental and took us to the fish market where we saw red and big snappers. The villa is well located and we could walk to the most beautiful beach on Mahe , the beau vallon beach, within fewer than 10 minutes.
Very caring hosts, always there to help! Nice staff, amazing food (especially the breakfast and the fish with Creole sauce), spacious rooms and pretty quite. Right next to a beautiful beach and a supermarket. Would love to come back at one point!
The landlady Daniella was very friendly and helpful. The beach and restaurant are almost on the doorstep. The apartment was cleaned every other day as soon as you left it. So all in all a very pleasant stay.
Great location near the bus stop, shops, and Beau Vallon beach. The host, Anne-Marie, was really kind, friendly, and helpful. She helped us with everything we needed. We had a wonderful stay.
We loved the pool, the beauty and modernness of the suites. Absolutely wonderful, helpful and kind staff! Would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Mahè!
