The pool and lobby area were beautiful. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The price is high for what you get, but we knew this going in. You pay for location, right on the ocean. It's a 20 minute drive to get into town to do anything, so only stay here if you like the seclusion. Food and drink from the Pelican Grill was reasonably priced and good portions.
Our flight was changed last minute and we had to check out a night early. They charged a $125 cancellation fee. Nothing we could do about it, and I kind of get it. But the hotel was booked solid. I'm sure they booked out our room anyway and they didn't need to charge us.
Just a 5-minute drive from the centre of town, Rincon offers rooms overlooking the Caribbean Sea, outdoor swimming pool or the hotel's tropical gardens.

The pool and pool bar were great. The food was nice and it was great to be able to eat while sitting in the pool or get out and enjoy the view from the seated area. It was also right on the beach which was great, we could hear the waves from our room at night.

We didn't stay downtown Rincon, but just outside about a 10 minute drive close to Steps Beach, where lots of surfers hang out. The downtown itself seemed very lively and there were some good restaurants that catered to different tastes and different price points. The beach in Rincon itself was quite large and wide and it had fine, yellow sand and beautiful sunsets. Lots of people gathered there to watch the sun go down. It seemed very popular with locals and tourists alike.

Avoid booking casa buena vista through booking.com. Booking.com chat is riddled with fraud and scams.
Deceptive booking.com description. This is not a 2br condo. These are 2 separate units on 2 separate floors. A studio and a 1 bed room. Do not book thinking this is a single 2 bedroom unit.
Poor communication between booking.com, rental management, and host. Booking did not provide check in instructions. Had to email host for instructions. Check in instructions are confusing as there are multiple units to check in to not just one. Lock boxes have address numbers on them but the numbers are not provided. Host provided phone number to call with issues for a 3am check in but did not answer phone. A very frustrating booking and check in experience that is easily avoided with accurate property description paired with accurate check in instructions.

Like the beach, the pool, the lobby and the staff. Didn't like the room looks faded and there was a lot of rust, room maintenance, bar closed too early, no coffee or water at the lobby no business station

Best place to visit however due to many expats moving in the prices for everything are skyrocketing because well people love to spend here. Once you go you’ll continue to return the many shops and the owners are very welcoming and do treat everyone like family no matter where you go. Favorite spot for me is the Lighthouseaks El Farro, the Balneario Hut and Beach, especially Karaoke Nights, as well as, Rincon Bakery for the huge and tasty breakfast sandwiches to name a few. The area is easy to get to know major businesses are either on Route 115 or 413 so getting lost isn’t really a concern. I would avoid driving into or out of town on Thursday afternoon or evenings due to art night in the plaza many people come in and all school areas out or during school breaks out hours which is anywhere in PR at around 2-230pm..
Pool area is great, unfortunately the beach washed away wjth the last hurricane, so there is no beach in front of the property anymore.
The rooms are very basic, couches and dinning rooms chairs were very dirty, had large stains on them, overall for the price I thought the rooms would be better, kitchen is very sparingly equipped, it’s very dated, it is outside of Rincon as well, so with no beach you do need to have a car to drive.
We had a great time overall, but this property is in need of some TLC and probably won’t stay there again.
We were charmed by this lovely and unique boutique hotel. It felt cozy and clean, and the shower head was amazing. Our kids really enjoyed the pool area. The staff we talked to were very kind and responsive, and Tanya's restaurant recommendation was spot-on (we loved our dinner at Vatos Locos in downtown Rincon). We couldn't get the TV to work, but we didn't have much time for it anyways. If we are fortunate enough to return to this awesome surfing town, we'll be looking to book another stay at the Lazy Parrot Inn.
The place it's very cozy and clean secluded if you looking for disconect, transportation it's a must it's like 10 minutes in car from Rincón town but not walking distance. Excelent for taking walks or jogging. The place it's completely equipped you only need to bring your clothes and groceries. The owner it's very helpful and friendly and it's very reachable even though she doesn't live on premises.I recommend this apartment 100%
Apartment was very spacious and clean. While unpacking we noticed water on the floor in one area. Contacted Damarys and within a very short period of time, a handyman was sent to check out the problem. Apparently, the hot water appliance was leaking. Very happy to say the situation was corrected within an hour or two. Excellent service. Would recommend this apartment located just minutes from downtown Rincon.
Very clean and well-designed house with a beach theme. Only a six minute walk from Steps Beach and situated in a great place in Rincon. You can hear the waves from your room at night. Close to downtown but far enough to provide peace and quiet. The staff was nice and the property also had ample parking.
Villa Confresi in Rincon was a great find! We were amazed how it was our own resort in our Ocean front room.
The a Hotel Restaurant bar was right by the ocean & the sunsets were phenomenal. The food was amazing with a friendly staff that was there to give you exceptional service.
The location is great, the views from the rooms are breathtaking and the beach is decent. We came here after being disappointed of another place in Puerto Rico and this hotel fixed every impression for the island! Also, you can have one of the best sunsets in your life.
We were in the Gloria villa. You couldn't be any closer to the water. The villa was huge and a great value. We had great bath towels and beach towels. The beds were big and comfortable. We used the barbecue which was nice too. Very central location to in Rincon.
Everything about this hotel was perfect. It's a small property, right on the beach, which created the opportunity for peaceful sunrises and sunsets right on the beach. The hotel was in walking distance to good restaurants and activities.
Breakfast was plentiful with eggs, pastries, fresh fruits, and unlimited coffee.the guests mingled with each other and gave each other tips on where to go in Rincon.John was usually around to see to our needs.
I really liked having a large room, with also a fridge and a kettle available.
Staff was really polite and friendly.
The position is good as you can easily reach Rincon center within a few minutes by car
Location in the center of Rincon. Near restaurant, shopping, beaches and other enjoys. On Thursdays and Sunday the center of Rincon becomes a food, souvenirs, music and other enjoyment.
Nice apartment close to the beach and some restaurants. Very comfortable bed and helpful owners. The city of Rincon is close with a 10 minutes drive. Generally nice area around.
