Amazing location, we walked to the dolmen in the morning. The hosts showed us to our rooms and as we were the only ones we had a lot of privacy on the whole top floor.

Nice large room and shower room. Very clean. Great view from the breakfast room. The breakfast was perfect for me; fresh fruit & natural yogurt, selection of cereals, soda bread, big selection of quality jams, peanut butter etc. Plus scrambled eggs on toast and good quality teas. Taxi back from town was E8 (paid E10). Quiet roads for walking and cycling. Very helpful owners.

We had a wonderful night in Portnoo. Mary and Michael were incredibly welcoming to their home, and are both very warm, lovely people. They greeted us with tea and biscuits on arrival which was lovely after a long cycle. The house has stunning views of the sea and the room was very comfortable. Mary gave us our first full Irish breakfast in the morning! Portnoo itself is a great place, with a lovely pub, cafe and beach. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return!

Property was very clean, and kitchen/dining area had plenty of food and drink choices. Location couldn’t be better, literally in the town centre. Entire booking process was very simple and easy, and it was handled very professionally by the host. (Hotel doesn’t have staff, you get a key to unlock main entrance door and your room door, you get all the details from host after you make your reservation)

The house is conveniently located close to the village, but very quiet. It was warm on arrival, and the kids loved having a few channels to play with on the TV! The beds were comfortable and had lovely duvets and blankets. We'll be back again for sure!
