Once I had read your reviews I booked your two scenic garden/balcony rooms. We had lovely weather, the location and view was perfect and made our stay more enjoyable. We paid more but as our first time stay was to celebrate a joint 60th and 90th birthday, also a birthday treat for my own birthday, we loved the new modern Victoria, the layout, restaurant, beautiful garden and picked the best hotel option. The staff were all very friendly, and welcoming, especially the managers when booking us in for dinner (Sat night) as hotel residents. We booked also because we could bring our well behaved cocker spaniel with us too. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend staying/dining too! A lovely lovely boutique hotel.

The room was very small indeed. Food was very good. The reception staff very helpful taking a heavy suitcase up three flights of stairs for us and going the extra mile for information we required.
