B and B is located in a cute town (Drymen) with close proximity to Glengoyne Distillery and Loch Lomond. Right next to a great restaurant - the Clachan, an old establishment (licensed 1734) with nice food, ambience, and friendly staff. Also next to an excellent bakery. Decor was nice.

The owner, Arwen, went above and beyond to help us. Everything was very clean and wonderfully decorated, including the beautiful gardens. The continental breakfast had a lovely selection of food including a variety of fresh fruits. The location is just minutes walking distance away from restaurants and stores in town. It's convenient for walkers on the West Highland Way.

Nice visit if get right accommodation.
Nice visit if get right accommodation. Unfortunately we stayed at the Buchanan Arms Hotel, and I have uploaded a bunch of photos of our supposedly SUPERIOR KING room - 2 singled beds pushed together.
The Mill House is lovely to go to for drink and meal. nearby hotel entertainment is on in local pubs.

I would say the hotel is a no frills establishment.
I would say the hotel is a no frills establishment. It's clean and comfortable , but in my view is tired and in need of updating. For me and has been mentioned many times by others is the poor breakfast on offer. In all the hotels I have stayed at I've never had to book for breakfast giving a specific time. Sadly one day we forgot to book so was turned away . Once at breakfast, you will constantly be asking for items to be refreshed , from the fruit juices to the bread for toast. The hotel seem to restrict what is put out. There is no proactivity from any of the staff, they have to be asked to do anything rather than act on something that we can all see need's doing. The hot food served was never hot as clearly it was already prepared and just waiting to be brought out. Overall our stay was ok , in a great location but is let down by what I have described above. You pay your monies and make your choice.

This quiet town is a short drive away from Balmaha where you can take the boat trip to Luss. Amazing views on the boat and both shores are very picturesque with small independent ice-cream parlours, coffee shops and other businesses.

Everything. The owners and staff couldn’t have been better.
Everything. The owners and staff couldn’t have been better. We were made to feel more than welcome. We were invited out along with the hotel staff and the local community for a walk along the west highland way up Conic hill on New Year’s Day. What a day! We couldn’t have enjoyed it more. I couldn’t recommend staying at the Drymen Inn highly enough. The food is excellent (we didn’t even eat anywhere else as it was so good and so reasonably priced), the entertainment on New Year’s Eve was fantastic, they made my wee dog Molly so welcome and quite simply couldn’t do enough for us. We have already booked for over New Year’s Eve next year and will very likely be back before that! Stuart, Jen and their staff were excellent hosts. Overall excellent in every way!!
The location was fabulous .... a rural location on the outskirts of Drymen. Very convenient for visits to Loch Lomond, Balmaha, Rowardennan, Balloch, and for hiking on the West Highland Way and and climbing/walking on local hills. Plus a relatively short drive to Glasgow, Stirling and Edinburgh.
Exceptionally comfortable and modern property. Warm and cosy and very well appointed. Owner, Jenny, met with us on arrival and gave us some helpful guidance on local attractions and nearby pubs and eateries.
Check in was easy and the receptionist was very pleasant.
The room was what is to be expected of a Best Western.
It was nice and close to a super pub that is just across the square. I wasn't too impressed with the hotel pub area; but the bar tender was a great guy in a kilt with the ready smile and good service. We had sundowners and ate out on the veranda. That was good fun.
Breakfast in the old dining room was fabulous; piping hot and well served.
Check out was fast and efficient.
The lounch in the garden was nice. We did not make use of the enormous hot tub, which had to be heated about 24 hours in advance. Furthermore, the teeners liked the tv, which we had in each room. We also enjoyed a play of darts in the lounge area. And, the location, near Drymen was terrific. Mountain view on both sides, very quiet place on private property. Large kitchen and also the other rooms were large. We also liked the small shop with essentials and games.
Beautiful property for our overnight stop. We were greeted on arrival and served with tea/coffee and scones in the comfortable downstairs guests' snug. Clean, beautifully decorated bedrooms with high-quality furnishings and Sky TV. Maggi and Gordon and their daughter made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was wonderful and as good as the best hotels we had stayed in during our 3-week Scotland N500 tour.
Beautiful and quite location with big ground to wall around it and just 2 minute drive from drymen which can get very busy with holiday makers which was great for my anxiety when it got to much and not far from loch lomond especially when you've just done a long slog up ben lomond 😂will definitely be back 😊
Huge double room with views across a landscaped garden and the fields and hills beyond.
Cracking breakfast and some lovely pubs to eat at in Drymen which is just down the road.
Easy access to Loch Lomond for walking, water sports and wildlife.
My sons room was likewise clean and well appointed.
Beautiful small town. Lovely coffee shop in town, Sqoosh, with wonderful homemade Victoria Sponge. Had dinner at the hotel which was very good and at Clachan Inn/pub which was wonderful. However they were very busy and the bar was noisy but staff worked hard and food was great.
Paradisiac homey place in a world-class national park: serene and restful surrounding; gorgeous village Drymen; walking trails; welcoming place; warm breakfast, etc etc. Carolyn is great, helpful, welcoming. We felt honored to have stayed with her family.
Good facilities; free access to pool area (including jacuzzi and sauna) and nice modern bath in room. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. Drymen is a lovely village, so this hotel is in a good location to explore Loch Lomond.
Great location for those doing the West Highland Way Or Rob Roy. Easy to find and right in the centre of Drymen. The pool, steam room and hot tub were a great bonus and part of the reason I booked the stay, to rest the weary feet.
I loved the location. The room was lovely and very clean. The host, Tommy, was very sweet and quite friendly. You can tell he loves to have his guests I loved the inn was close to the oldest pub in Scotland. Quite a treatj
This darling cottage near the town of Drymen is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The host is hospitable and helpful. Nice place to stay if walking the West Highland Trail. Food available at the nearby golf course.
Lovely location near Loch Lomond. Very comfortable and nicely decorated apartment. It had everything we needed for our stay. The owner is very helpful and very kindly accommodated our late arrival.
The location is great, just in the middle, near a very good restaurant and the grosseries store. The women that accepted us gave us some good advices (like to book a table in the restaurant asap)
Very clean and spacious and great location for highlands loch lomond and stirling
Balloch and local pubs good for food make sure you book a reservation to get in for diner
Amazing little inn in Drymen, friendly staff and excellent value for bed dinner and breakfast, if you’re looking for somewhere to stay as a stopover I 100% recommend
An excellent location right smack in the middle of Drymen. The rooms are clean and quiet, the bar and restaurant are great, and the people very friendly.
