Lovely stay at Balcomie Links in Crail. Room was fresh and modern fixtures and fittings. En-suite rainfall shower was amazing. Staff were pleasant & helpful.We were booked in for breakfast but had dinner as well in restaurant. Food was excellent!

Ben and the Chef were smiling, friendly and very efficient. Breakfast was excellent! A simple room was as described in listing and matched the photos. Towels were lovely. Linens were fresh. Clean room and washroom. Walkable to the waterfront and shops. Coast coffee & café recommendation with friendly staff and good food. Isle of May tour with Anstruther Pleasure Cruise is 8 minute walk & highly recommended. Close to Drive to Crail & St. Andrews.

It was very central. The staff was as friendly as can be both at check-in and dinner and breakfast.
It was very nice to have the dining room right there and the food was good. Even though it was right at an intersection, it was very quiet at night.

That you were able to accommodate us at short notice for a one-night stay. Dinner was excellent and packed breakfast great as we had to leave earlier. Gorgeous grounds. Grandson wished he could have stayed longer for all the activities.

I visited Anstruther specifically for a boat trip to The Isle of May. The weather proved to be excellent for us and the trip I would recommend to anybody interested in Nature and specifically seabirds like Puffin, Arctic Tern, Cormorant, Shag, Guillemote, Razorbill and so on. I was there for 2 nights in a lovely B&B (Brackness House) which was within 5 minutes walk of the harbour meaning we had no need to seek parking (which can be an issue at busy times). Anstruther is a beautiful little fishing port and I will re-visit probably as part of a walking holiday on the Fife Coastal path. We ate at the Dreel pub on the one evening. A fabulous warm welcome and lovely food, though a bit limited for my wife who is a confessed fussy vegetarian. I found the meal to be a little expensive at first but have since learned about the tax issues facing small businesses in Scotland so have revised my opinion about the costs. It certainly was not over expensive and I would happily go back. We ate the second evening wotha takeaway from the Wee Chippy on the harbour front. Again lovely food, a little more expensive than I was expecting, but again, not massively so and probably reflective of all the local prices. Anstruther is a lovely and lively little town in the beautiful East Neuk of Fife. It has a very picturesque harbour, good eating places, including the wonderful and award-winning Anstruther Fish Bar, a number of interesting shops and a well-stocked Co-op. It is within easy reach of other lovely little East Neuk towns/villages, including St Monans, Pittenweem and Crail, and the university town of St Andrews, which is a must for visitors to the area. The RNLI shop at Anstruther harbour has a really good selection of little presents to take home to loved ones, including the iconic yellow wellies for little feet!Elizabeth - 10Scored 10

Anstruther is a beautiful town, but can be very busy in summer months. Great for a walking holiday along Fife coastal path but it is not mobility scooter friendly with narrow pavements and no dropped kerbs. Great selection of fish and chip shops and small cafes.KKennethUnited Kingdom

The beds are lovely and comfortable. We absolutely loved the location. Anstruther is beautiful and is central to a lot of local sites as well as a good starting part to go further afield. There is also a play park just outside the apartment. We very much appreciated the welcome tray. Thank you for a lovely stay ☺️
