Bayeux is a small walkable village but the hotel location was just off the main drag enough to make it peaceful. The restuarant was excellent with a number of good choices. The breakfast was just ok. The location was very close to the departure area for all the tours.

Between Caen and Cherbourg, near the exit 36 on the N13 motorway, Hotel ibis budget Bayeux is just 8.1 mi to the D-Day landing beaches.

Breakfast choice was not wide but there was plenty. It was very good value. The hotel public areas & room were all very clean & smart. The two staff we dealt with were lovely. The hotel is basic but very good value on a triplike ours where it wasa single night stopover.
