Ceuta is a lovely city. The weather is mild.
Ceuta is a lovely city. The weather is mild. There are historical sites to visit, such as statues and information on ancient greek philosophers (Aristotelis, Plato) and large statues of Hercules and Kalypso. The city is clean and well maintained. There are many options for shopping. The restaurants are good and the food is reasonably priced. The beaches are great. Maybe an interesting town, if you look at the history. You see old buildings, a fascinating corniche and impressing churches . but the way to follow the direction to the Moroccan borders is terrible you must calculate hours to pass a few hundred meters . I made this experience in January, and I do not want to think of the situation during the summer and tourists ' situation . The formalities , asked by one side or the other, are ridiculous - why do I need a " tarjeta turista " as a resident of Morocco ?? Nobody could explain this to me ... But to obtain this little sheet of paper you have to spend hours at the border .
