We really liked the remote location and adjacent trails. We had the entire building to ourselves. Parking was right in front. The hostess Lottie made a special effort to come by and say hello which made us feel right at home. The kitchen was completely stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment is large and very well equipped. We could easily cater our meals. For English speaking guests it is a bonus having BBC 1and 2 on the television. The place is spotlessly clean. There are many interesting places to visit close at hand. The nearest decent supermarket is about 20 minutes by car.

El Vianden Cottage - Charming Cottage in the Forest se encuentra en Vianden, a 500 metros del telesilla de Vianden y a 400 metros del Museo Victor Hugo, en una zona donde se puede practicar... The location of the cottage is beautiful. On the hill overlooking Vianden only a 15 minute walk from the city center (a walk which initially looks more steep and challenging then it actually is) The cottage is very well equipped and was very clean. Although the location is slightly remote, it was very easy to find. The owner is very pleasant and friendly. If you want to go and explore Vianden and it's surroundings for a few days, We would definitely recommend staying at the Vianden cottage.
