This is a wonderful place to be. Fantastic natural environment, we had moneys in the trees just in front of our bungalow and watched them for an hour or so. Some fireflies at night, fantastic scenery of mountains and forest. The place is some 50 meters right above the railway, so you see all the trains passing by. Plus and above all, the family who runs the hostel is so nice and friendly. The parents of the owner don’t speak much English, still it’s worth communicating, as they are lovely people. The meals the mother was cooking were incredible, just huge! Could never finish them, also of great variety and not too spicy, just extraordinary, really the best in four weeks of traveling. Also the owner took us for a tour and arranged transportation for a fair price. The place is about 30 minutes walking distance from town but walking along the train tracks through a beautiful local area is an outstanding experience.

We had an amazing time at cozy cottage Ella. This place was amazing. The rooms were large and very clean. The rooms had air conditioner as well as a beautiful balcony where we watched the sunset. As well the bathroom facilities were amazing , hot water, good water pressure. If visiting Ella this is the place to stay not only will you get a comfortable, clean and inviting room to rest but you also get amazing service, breakfast and views. I will definitely be booking again!

It was amazing. The most delicious breakfast. Everything was close, near to the nine arch bridge trail and also to the trail to little adams peak. The host was helpful and nice.

We had such a great stay here! We were super surprised at how big the room was, especially since we paid so little! The balcony was also a lovely addition. Big big big bonus points for the king size bed - loved it. The staff were extremely kind and they offer a tuk tuk service to bring you to and from Ella city center. Also, right on top of the hotel (literally 2’ uphill walk) is the 3arch bridge - the least famous sibling to the 9 arch one. We were lucky enough to see trains passing there and it was wonderful! We can only recommend! Thanks again.

Objekat Fair View Cottage ima pogled na planinu, besplatan WiFi i besplatan privatni parking, a smešten je u gradu Ela, na 4,9 km od znamenitosti Most Nine Arches Bridge u Demodari. We loved everything there! The hut is amazing, spacious, has AC, TV, hot water, kettle, tea, cups, mini fridge full of beverages that you can buy. Staff are very nice and welcoming, always helpful. Location is great, waking up in the tropical forest with a view, drinking tea/coffee on the balcony and being very close to the city center. Breakfast was exceptional, staff asked our preferences when we checked in and they made the magic happen. and they also serve breakfast in a very beautiful crockery.

Objekat Saffron Eco Cottage, udaljen oko 6,4 km od znamenitosti Most Nine Arches Bridge u Demodari, nudi smeštaj sa balkonom i kuvalom, kao i pogled na planinu. While about a 25 minute walk (or short tuktuk ride) outside of town the location of the hotel is breathtaking. Sapu and his wife were fantastic hosts and were extremely helpful in every way. If we return to Ella we will almost certainly stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay ! Beautiful room with an amazing view! Every morning we had delicious breakfast on the balcony. My boyfriend loves tropical fruits and asked for something specific. The owner was super helpful in finding this for him. He and his wife were super friendly and helpful. They also offer affordable services for laundry and transfers. The location is perfect, 20 min walk to the city. We would definitely recommend Ella 100 View Cottage!

Featuring a garden and a terrace, Tea Cabins is located in Ella, a 18-minute walk from Demodara Nine Arch Bridge. Absolutely fantastic place to stay. We got upgraded since we came in off season and were in the main A-frame cabin. It was gorgeous though we couldn't enjoy the private pool due to the rain. Food was absolutely phenomenal with huge portions. Check in/out was very easy. It is a bit of a walk to get there so not quite easy for those physically unable to climb stairs. Staff will help with luggage. Would absolutely stay here again. It was the best part of our trip to SL!

Located 2.2 km from Demodara Nine Arch Bridge and 900 metres from Ella Spice Garden, Saddle Cottage features accommodation in Ella. Free WiFi is available. The hosts are lovely and caring people, room was clean, the bathroom quite big, with hot water available. View from balcony was amazing, there were also lots of birds and squirells to observe, also we could hear waterfall form the other sodę of valley . We stayed for 3 nights, and breakfast was different every day (very tasty Sri Lankan dishes, big portions). We also ate dinners - delicous rice and curry! Owner took us for a trip around Ella, which we enjoyed very much. We had fabulous stay at Saddle Cottage and hope to come back some day :)
