A tuk tuk to the city centre and back is approx 300 slr. You can stop by at keels for your groceries. Turtle hatcheries, water sports at some of the. Upmarket resorts, river safaries are all with a 10 min ride. You must stay at this property. It was an honor to stay at the host’s family home. It was peaceful. WiFi worked good. We were served coconuts from the garden before our departure.

Edna and Alli welcomed me so lovely. I travelled alone and was part of a small family there. the four meals per day were awesome!! the location is really good to enjoy the green of the forest and chill out. I participated in a lot of activities which were well organized and simply stunning (kayaking, bicycle tour, hike to a waterfall). we did aerial yoga which was awesome. the aspect of sustainability and fairness was always in the mind of the two hosts.

The house is spacious with all comforts one would need. The garden, sit-out areas, the pool and the lake are real highlights. Top this up with delicious meals from the celebrity chef Chandana. House staff, Gajan and Kabi were very kind and made sure that we had good time. Thanks also to Leon for his support.

Though the host's English was limited, we had no problem communicating and he and his family were extremely accommodating. AC worked well and the unit is quite large. Excellent value for the price.
