El Icelandic Lake House se encuentra en Akranes, en la región de Islandia Occidental, y ofrece balcón y vistas al río. We have been travelling in Iceland for 3 weeks and have stayed in some outstanding (plus a couple of not quite outstanding) accommodations. The Lake House is by far our favourite. The view from the conservatory and the deck were exceptional. We decided to take a ‘rest day’ here to just enjoy the view, the peace and the hot pot. It was great having access to coffee, herbs and spices left by the owners to use in our meal prep. Access was very easy with the lockbox. The heating was already on for us which was greatly appreciated. Btw I loved the swans in the pond. 😂

It is set pretty much in the middle of nature and the house was quite big for two people and nicely furnished. The hot tub with naturally hot water was also just an incredible add-on. Would absolutely go there again and also for longer.

El Hvammur (Hrakhólar) está situado en Kaldrananes y ofrece jardín, zona de parrilla, terraza, bañera de hidromasaje privada, conexión wifi gratis y vistas al jardín. We loved this beautifully spacious, well maintained cottage. The kitchen was great. The hot tub was lovey to relax in on our arrival. The owners had it full for us. We would have loved to stay longer.

El Gíslaholt se encuentra en Borgarnes, a 50 km de Reikiavik, y ofrece jardín y wifi gratis. A very clean, cosy cottage in beautiful landscape and peaceful, quiet setting. Kitchen well equipped, cosy beds and great bathroom. Everything one needs is there. It’s close to the popular sights of Reykholt, Hraunfossar and Húsafell. Wonderful owners.

Awesome apartment, fully equipped, very spacious and comfortable. Very peaceful and quiet place, wish we could stay for more nights!

El Snæfellsnes Farmhouse está situado en Grundarfjordur y ofrece vistas al lago, conexión wifi gratis y estacionamiento privado gratuito. Beautiful location Owners were welcoming Safe location and saw the sheep and cows. Even got to go and milk the cows in the morning. Calf born 6 hours earlier.

El Sodulsholt Cottages ofrece casas de campo independientes en Sodulsholt y vistas al paisaje de los alrededores. Hay wifi gratis. Perfect location, tucked out of the way off the main road, with the most amazing views. The little cottage has everything you need inside. We absolutely loved the unique nature and character of the cottage. Highly recommend.

El Hítarnesfjörur Holiday Home es una casa situada en Hítarneskot y cuenta con parrilla. También dispone de terraza. Además, hay estacionamiento privado y WiFi gratuitos. Lovely cottage set next to the sea. The house had everything we needed. Warm and comfortable. You can sit by the window and just watch the horses. We visited in winter and it was an excellent place to view the aurora.
