We liked everything, it was like staying at home, a LARGE home :) comparing with other apartments we have been to, that was not just a “hotel room” style, there was a spirit of a live home, rare found. As I have mentioned, the house had a lot of space, very well equipped, kitchen was stuffed with all we needed, beds were comfortable, and there were a lot of lights all over the place. My son was happy fining a PlayStation that he played in the evening. The house was 10 minutes away from the airport, that might make sense if you need to stay a night before departure. Easy check in - check out, responsive and friendly host. Several grocery stores nearby. I would rate it all 5 starts in the review.

Lovely comfortable seating area for all. Gorgeous hot tub outside (which we were very lucky had stunning views of the Aurora the night we stayed!).

Located in Vogar in the Reykjanes peninsula, Ocean Front Villa features a barbecue. Reykjavík is a 30-minute drive from the property, while the Blue Lagoon is only 15 minutes away. Perfect location in a quiet residendtial area. Few meters from the seaside. Stylish interior design and kitchen with all types of utensils. Easy to park at the entrance.

Offering a private beach area, By the Lighthouse is a self-catering option located along the coast just 3.8 km from central Vogar. The Blue Lagoon Resort is just a 16-minute drive away. Cozy yet spacious nice clean place, stairs were manageable for my mom with limited mobility. The host Mrs Dagmar is very kind and the area is even more beautiful than I imagined. I would love to come back here one day.
