The owners have added so many personal touches such as guide books, binoculars, music CD’s, a deck of cards, and more! The view across the fjord was awesome and kept changing as the visibility varied a great deal. Our little kitchen was well-equipped and so handy. We loved this place!!

We chose this place for the night before heading back to Reykjavik and it was the best decision ever! The house is big and spacious. Kitchen and common area is wide enough for everyone. Have all the kitchenware you need. The house even comes with washing machine and dryer. Rooms and bed are comfy. The host is very responsive and provided us the detailed instruction of how to check in much in advance. We find no problem to find the place. It is a really small, but peaceful and quiet town. But we enjoy our time here very much.

The view into the lake and mountains was fantastic. Lovely and shy dog on site. (which we later learnt is a native Iceland sheep dog!) Richard was such a warm and helpful host. Breakfast was great.
