Overlooking Lake Mývatn, this camping site offers cottages with wooden floors, a private bathroom and a terrace. Everything exceed expectations. We stayed in many airbnb and accomdations during our 14 days road trip and I can say that this hits the top 3. Its located on a large compound with hostel, cabin, campsite. Fantastic place to rest, relax and explore.

A recently renovated holiday home set in Reykjahlíð, Myvo The Studio apartment at Geiteyjarströnd 4 features a garden. Splendid location!!!! Gracious host. Excellent access to the area’s attractions. Very comfortable bed!

Viesu nams Skútustadir, no kura paveras skats uz kalniem, atrodas lauku saimniecībā, Mīvatna ezera dienvidu krastā. Viesiem tiek piedāvāta koplietošanas virtuve / atpūtas telpa. It was one of best guesthouses i have stayed in Iceland. Clean cozy rooms and friendly staff. Additonally Skútustadir was perfect. I have tried everything unique this farm had to offer. Geysir bread, geysir beer, smoked trout, burger, angelica tea. Everything from localy grown plants or livestock. Loved it. And last, but not least. They make the best Gelato I had outside Italy!!

Situated in Myvatn, within 50 km of Godafoss Waterfall, Slow Travel Mývatn - Óli's Homestay-Private house v is an accommodation offering mountain views. Lovely stay and the owners put an effort into conserving the heritage of Iceland as well as being sustainable. The space is very spacious and had everything we needed. We had a really lovely time!

A recently renovated villa located in Geiteyjarstrond, Myvo The House Geiteyjarströnd 4 features a garden. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The very comfortable home from home, accommodation. Plenty of space for four people to spread out and enjoy the view across the lake. The close proximity to the amazing geological sites was a real bonus. The laundry facilities were excellent and we made good use of them.

Located 49 km from Godafoss Waterfall and offering barbecue facilities, Hlíd Huts provides accommodation in Myvatn. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. It was a cute little hut. There's no bathroom in the room, but they seemed to be very clear about that up front. We enjoyed sitting on our front porch sipping wine and looking over the lava field.
