Rotating between sauna and swimming in the lake in perfect peaceful silence. After a good sleep an amazing home cooked breakfast helped start the day - and free roaming ducks and chickens really got you in the best possible mood. The landscape, comfort, food, staff, and peace really are unparalleled. On top of everything we even got to charge our car a bit during the night to help us reach our next destination. Without a doubt will be visiting again.

All kind of facilities available, including morotized boats (for lazy people like me), and awesome authentic sauna :) Very nice owners, that are more than glad to help with anything one might need, even getting some stuff from the shop if you forget something. If you are looking for a quiet resort in the middle of a nature - that's the place.

The rooms are immaculate, and the beds are incredibly comfortable - ensuring a restful night's sleep. What truly sets this guesthouse apart is its proximity to the forest. The mornings were filled with the sweet melodies of birdsong, and the crisp scent of pine needles permeated the air. Exploring the nearby trails was a true highlight, offering a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming and accommodating. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their local insights and recommendations added an extra layer of authenticity to my experience. I also appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, allowing for home-cooked meals amidst the natural beauty that surrounded us. The communal spaces were inviting, providing opportunities to connect with fellow travelers and share stories. In short, the Finnish House near the forest is a hidden gem that offers a perfect blend of comfort, nature, and hospitality. I left feeling rejuvenated and inspired, and I cannot wait to return. Amazing location, secluded cabin on the lake with a private beach and lake access. Spectacular view and facilities, great communication by the owner who was available to clarify and explain everything we needed to know. Highly recommended
