When we arrived early, they were waiting on us and had tea, fruit, and snacks. In fact, when I broke the glass on top of his stove, he told ne not to worry about it. I of course couldn't not pay, so we left some cash. The property was comfortable and quiet.

Our best stay in all of Egypt, period. I can only speak wonders of Khalid and his wife Abir. From the beginning they took us in and treated us as one of their own. We arrived with the sleeper train and Khalid was waiting on Elephantine Island to take us to his house. He showed us our floor in his house and then invited us to breakfast. No need to say it was exceptional, Abir is a wonderful cook. They helped us with everything. We had to wake up early in the morning to go to Abu Simbel and Khalid offered to take us across with his motorboat as the ferry was not working those hours. His wife even prepared us lunchbags. My husband also got sick throughout the voyage and They would continuously come to check if he was okay, and make tea with lemon and herbs. The most hospitable people I have met in Egypt. We also had doubts as to how to travel from Aswan to Luxor while stopping at Kom Ombo and Edfu. Khalid offered to organize a driver for us at a fraction of the minibus or tour prices. And while being transferred from aswan to luxor, he even called the driver to check on us. The kindest people in all Egypt. Big heart, comfortable home with lots of space and very clean. Great food. This place has it all. Thank you!

Situated in Aswan, just 23 km from Aga Khan Mausoleum, Nubian Farm Aswan features beachfront accommodation with a private beach area, a garden, a bar and free WiFi. We had a wonderful stay at Nubian Farm. We arrived in Aswan really late at night and they still arranged to ferry us across the river and gave us a delicious lemon drink on arrival. The place is colourful and peaceful, and the breakfasts were hearty and delicious. Mahmoud was very helpful, spoke excellent English and organised a small day trip to the Nubian Village, Elephantine Island and the Botanical Gardens for us.

This was a great find for me and my wife. We originally had this booked as an overnight stay after arriving late on the train. My wife wasn't feeling well so we stayed two days. Top notch. Ahmed was always there by phone to make sure we were looked after. He arranged the pickup from the train. Taxi was great.
