Our kids really enjoyed the stay and it will certainly be one of the highlights of our trip to Colombia. I'd recommend anyone who wants to go somewhere off the beaten track to stay at Casa AliBri.

The country house offers an American or vegetarian breakfast. Amazing place, beautiful with peacocks and colibris roaming around the facility and beautiful parrots and birds, flowers, just beautiful. It's less than 10 min walk to Marinka falls which were wonderful! The food was delicious with a great chef Carlos. The food was prepared on the spot with fresh ingredients and tasted amazing. Henry, the property manager was very accommodating and always ready to help. He even lent us his phone so we can tether internet and work one morning due to a small internet problem that was fixed later in the afternoon. He was always courteous and ready to help. The only thing to mention is the ride up and down to the hotel. It's a 30 min bumpy ride in a jeep on a road with large potholes and windy roads. The scenery is very wild and our driver was amazing and very courteous. The ride coated $100,000 COP and It's not for everyone but if you like adventure in the wild then it's perfect. All in all great experience and highly recommended, you'll be literally in the jungle.

Diego, the owner/manager was extremely helpful navigating my hike through Tyrona State Park. he was always available on WhatsApp and answered all my questions immediately regarding travel onward. The staff are extremely kind and patient. The food is excellent. The room was extremely clean and smelled fresh. The sheets and towels are fresh as well. The private patio with hammock was a very nice tranquil area.

The staff were so helpful all the time with all of the question, the restaurant food is superb - try the Costa Curry with chicken - you’ll thank me later!!! 😄 Location is great, 10min by foot to Tayrona entrance and the place itself was cute, we stayed in the lodge by the main road but with ear plugs I couldn’t hear a thing. As a tip: withdraw cash somewhere by the airport or in Santa Marta beforehand as around Villa Tayrona you can only pay by cash or pay a card fee between 7-12% per transaction. In Villa Tayrona though, they put everything on one bill and you can pay by card before you leave without an additional fee! WiFi can be spotty but then just restart and it works fine. It was so superb, I wanna come back even just for the food! Thanks a lot for your help & service to the whole Villa Tayrona staff!
