I believe you need a bit of luck to stumble upon something like Casa AliBri, especially having in mind that they have opened just 6 months ago. The location is remote - 4.5km above the main road, there are no neighbours and it has only 3 rooms for guests. You are guaranteed a calm stay in the company of Alix and Brise. The place is overlooking the surrounding lush forest and you hear the songs of many birds. The casa is what you see on the pictures and it is very clean and well kept. We had a wonderful New Years Eve with Alix and Brise who are really wonderful human beings with very interesting story to tell. And the chef is fantastic (I will not say more about this, let it be a surprise when you go visit Casa AliBri). I would rate it with 11 if I could. Will be back in a few years to check on their project!

Boasting mountain views, Villa Tayrona features accommodation with balcony, around 2.7 km from Castilletes Beach. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The staff were so helpful all the time with all of the question, the restaurant food is superb - try the Costa Curry with chicken - you’ll thank me later!!! 😄 Location is great, 10min by foot to Tayrona entrance and the place itself was cute, we stayed in the lodge by the main road but with ear plugs I couldn’t hear a thing. As a tip: withdraw cash somewhere by the airport or in Santa Marta beforehand as around Villa Tayrona you can only pay by cash or pay a card fee between 7-12% per transaction. In Villa Tayrona though, they put everything on one bill and you can pay by card before you leave without an additional fee! WiFi can be spotty but then just restart and it works fine. It was so superb, I wanna come back even just for the food! Thanks a lot for your help & service to the whole Villa Tayrona staff!

Featuring a balcony with garden views, a private beach area and an outdoor swimming pool, Solea Villa Tropical can be found in Santa Marta, close to Playa Buritaca and 48 km from Quinta de San Pedro... We had an absolutely brilliant stay at Villa Solea, spending 5 nights and having one of the best experiences among hotels with a beautiful atmosphere. Firstly, the pictures don't fully capture the impression; it's much more spectacular in fact. The property is newly renovated with quality materials and good design taste. Fully private and well-equipped villas include clean towels, robes, bathroom kits, AC, and more. Our villa featured a huge bedroom, a beautiful terrace, a bathroom, and a view of the garden and pool. We could hear the ocean and enjoy the pool, as the villa is directly on the beach, allowing for a 2-minute walk to a white sandy beach. Despite the ocean's large waves, it wasn't a concern for us. The hotel's atmosphere was pure joy – quiet, cozy, and luxurious. We felt at home with the personal touch from our host, Alicia, who is an amazing person always ready to help. The entire staff was extremely kind and friendly, even though we couldn't speak Spanish; we could feel their care for us. The food is simply delicious, and we later had the pleasure of personally meeting the chef and expressing our gratitude.

Set within 19 km of Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino and 22 km of Santa Marta Gold Museum, Villa Canopy Minca provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Minca. Absolutely beautiful, the view is awesome. We had everything we needed: the kitchen is fully functional, the rooms are spacious and clean. Thank you Arnaud for being attentive to our requests. I fully recommend this place if you stay in Minca because it’s not too far from the city center while still having calm and quiet.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, GLAMPING BAReKE AZUL2 is situated in Santa Marta. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace. This cabana in Taganga is really amazing. We had 6 nights here and enjoyed all of them. Taganga itself can be a bit hectic, therefore staying at Bareke Azul on the hillside was just wonderful - only 5 min from centre of Taganga but far enough to get some peace, quiet and wonderful views. Also, one of the owners Ramon is just a really great and friendly host. All in all, we had an amazing stay at Bareke Azul. It’s not a luxury hotel, but considering the price, it’s perfect.

Situated within 46 km of Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino and 49 km of Santa Marta Gold Museum in Santa Marta, Salvia Madre features accommodation with seating area. Stunning property in the middle of the jungle, everything is well kept and all the details taken care of, the staff is kind and super helpful always looking for you to have the best possible experience, the room was clean, organised and better than the pictures. Food and drinks where also amazing and lot’s of plans to do. Unfortunately we book a very short time for such paradise. Excellent value for money
