O Rifugio Uschione é um hotel-fazenda recentemente renovado em Chiavenna, onde você pode aproveitar ao máximo seu jardim e bar. Beautiful, so beautiful and quiet. Stunning location together with wonderful host and chef, Fabricio, who also became a friend over our 7 night stay. He did a great job in English despite this being, as he charmingly acknowledges, is his not so good language. There's a rustic charm that may not be to everyone's taste. For us it was authentic and soulful.

The apartament exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, clean and very well equipped. The view from window was also very nice. Owners were more than happy to help us. Private parking with direct entrance to ski storage was very convenient after skiing. 5 minutes from Bormio center by car. There was also available ski bus jus down the road (300 meteres from Chalet). Best value for money I have ever been skiing in the Alps.

The rooms and restaurant and all the facilities are beautifully decorated with carved wood and local crafts, every detail is special and all is planned to make guests feel at home. Two beautiful cats and two dogs live in the property, making pet lovers feel at ease and kids happy to play with them. Just outside the property, there is plenty of opportunities to take long walks on easy trails, completely surrounded by forest and fields. The restaurant serves amazing, locally sourced food and has an incredible wine list. In one word, this place is paradise!

Ester and Dario were amazing hosts even coming to pick us up when we were stranded at train station. Showed us all the restaurants in area and sent us to our room with a bowl of blueberries. They were so kind!
