Absolutely fantastic: gorgeous, gorgeous location; lovely and responsive host, comfortable and well-appointed accommodation. The kitchen was well equipped and the property is self-sufficient on solar power so no power cuts. It's the kind of place you actively look forward to returning to at the end of a long day. I was only sorry I couldn't stay longer!

Carla and Nils looked after us exceptionally well, they are such great people and staying at Holt Hill was the highlight of our trip down the Garden Route. This guesthouse is beyond cool - full of character - with so many different spaces to enjoy. Amazing value for a little paradise!

AfriCamps at Ingwe, cabana o cottage a Plettenberg Bay

Located within 12 km of Goose Valley Golf Club and 22 km of Bloukrans Bridge in Plettenberg Bay, AfriCamps at Ingwe offers accommodation with seating area.

I'm officially in love with Africamps. On my next trip to South Africa I would seek out more of their locations. (Although I usually travel solo - please create some solo travel friendly tents!) The tent itself is much cuter than I even expected. The bedrooms are separated by the living room/kitchen so gives privacy. The kitchen is well stocked and there is even drinking water provided which was much appreciated! The deck is huge and the perfect place to sit and watch the sunset. Deer regularly visit, which was just a treat. If you like to star gaze, at night at Ingwe you can just see so many stars. One of my favourite bonuses was the heated blankets on the bed. I would turn it on just before bedtime, and then crawl into a warm heated bed to end the day. The location is also perfect. If you are planning on visiting any of the local animal sanctuaries there is no better location. We were so close by to all of them! At only a 15 - 20 minute drive to Plettenberg you can easily head into town for anything you need. Just keep in mind there are no streetlights on the way back, and the camp is off the main road on some tiny unpaved roads so I recommend planning to get back before it gets too dark.

The view is sensational. From the balcony you can see the sea and the wide sandy beach. The room is very nicely furnished and everything is very clean and tidy. We felt very comfortable and had a fantastic time.

Situated on a country estate at the heart of the Garden Route, within a 10 minute drive of Plettenberg Bay, this self-catering property welcomes guests seeking a restful and tranquil getaway.

I was on holiday with my parents in South Africa, we decided to stop off at Masescha Country Estate for one night. I regret not staying longer. Ray and Angie was so lovely and the cottage we stayed in had fantastic views. Everything was so tranquil and peaceful. It was important for me to find somewhere my parents would feel comfortable and this ticked all their boxes. They absolutely loved it, we all did! I will definitely stay here again when I visit SA. We had a lovely welcome basket with the best brownies in town. Angie made the brownies and they were delicious. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful x

We had a great time here! The views are amazing, and the place looks beautiful, especially the garden. But what made our stay really special was how friendly and welcoming the host was.
