    The room was exactly as advertised and very clean. It's got all you need: AC, fan, hot water, kettle, sockets by the bed... The outdoor garden & patio space are really lovely, great to sit and chat and eat there! Above all, the owner Stella is so lovely and helpful, she went above & beyond helping me get ready for my ongoing journey. Enjoyed the food as well. In short I recommend Haika Lodge without hesitation!

    It’s a transit lodge about 10 minutes from the airport. Our flight landed at 10 pm and we have a flight early the next morning. Pick up from and to the airport was included in the price making this excellent value for money. The lodge staff were very friendly and accommodated and early breakfast for us.

    Host organized TAXI transfer to/from Dar es Salam airport on reasonable price. It is possible to check-in early in the day-time not only like other hotels which are providing check-in only in the middle of the day. Host's wife or other woman has made a dinner instead of breakfast (breakfast was included in price) due to my specific check-out time. My check-out was at midnight due to night flight from Dar es Salam. Cozy terrace in guest house premises. You can look on surroundings and drink some beer in the terrace.

    It was located close to the airport, making it a great place to stay the night before an early flight. I was able to organise a taxi to collect me from the ferry terminal, take me to the lodge and then to the airport when required. The room was clean and the mattress was nicely firm. The staff were lovely and were able to whip up a meal for me on request.

    Traveled alone and lived in a bungalow right by the beach. Loved the sound of ocean while I slept. Also, the beach is very nice and clean! They had good food, and nice staff. Cozy area, very calm and relaxing place to stay. Since the price is so cheap I felt like I really got a nice place for that cash! Will definitely stay here again.

    We chose a 3-person cabin and stayed overnight. Simple, cosy, and quite clean cabin in a quiet area 2min away from the beach. Perfect resting spot after a long week, even on a festive weekend - loved the hammock on the balcony. Morning dip into the ocean before the crowds came out to play was a bliss. I'd recommend it for a quick hassle-free getaway from Dar's hustle and bustle!
