This is a ‘home-stay’ type premises with meals served in the family house. The family and staff were warm, welcoming and eager to help throughout and were ever-ready with ideas for restaurants and attractions in the surrounding area. We were free to roam in the family gardens and their vineyards, which have good views across the surrounding countryside. I'm giving this premises a rating of '10' because of the above. Don't expect 5 star luxury - do expect to be well catered for in a traditional Portuguese house, in a peaceful rural environment (only 10 minutes drive to the nearest small town).

Loved the outdoor kitchen, grill, and dining table. Having a small pool was also nice. Place was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. They even got a crib for us and included some toys for the kiddo.

The host was so kind, amiable and friendly! We had a very nice room with a breathtaking view. Next day we had an amazing breakfast, Patricia was also so helpful to arrange us a taxi to the town as the house is located at the elavation, 9 minutes drive from the center. The house is very comfortable and modern, super clean and cosy. I highly recommend a place.
