Stayed at the end of February. Check in was easy, the host was easily contacted and met us within 5 minutes. The cabin was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Our stay was enjoyable with a fantastic view. Breakfast was great with a wide variety of options delivered to our cottage by the host who went out of her way to make our stay memorable. I would highly recommend staying here. Thanks for a great experience.

It was one of best guesthouses i have stayed in Iceland. Clean cozy rooms and friendly staff. Additonally Skútustadir was perfect. I have tried everything unique this farm had to offer. Geysir bread, geysir beer, smoked trout, burger, angelica tea. Everything from localy grown plants or livestock. Loved it. And last, but not least. They make the best Gelato I had outside Italy!!

Lovely stay and the owners put an effort into conserving the heritage of Iceland as well as being sustainable. The space is very spacious and had everything we needed. We had a really lovely time!

It was a cute little hut. There's no bathroom in the room, but they seemed to be very clear about that up front. We enjoyed sitting on our front porch sipping wine and looking over the lava field.

Such a lovely cosy apartment with windows all round and overlooking Lake Myvatn. It was the perfect place to relax and hope to see the Northern Lights from the big balcony outside. The place was thoughtfully designed as open plan with nice touches such as candles and rugs. The underfloor heating was very efficient and plenty of kitchenware plus oven, stovetop, microwave, washing machine etc. We had looked at slightly cheaper options nearby but I think it was worth paying a little extra for this one. Would highly recommend!

The very comfortable home from home, accommodation. Plenty of space for four people to spread out and enjoy the view across the lake. The close proximity to the amazing geological sites was a real bonus. The laundry facilities were excellent and we made good use of them.
