A very clean, cosy cottage in beautiful landscape and peaceful, quiet setting. Kitchen well equipped, cosy beds and great bathroom. Everything one needs is there. It’s close to the popular sights of Reykholt, Hraunfossar and Húsafell. Wonderful owners.

Airy, comfortable, quiet home with amazing, seemingly magical vibe. The family lore runs deep here and I appreciated knowing the history of the house and the property. Pastoral view with sheep keeping us company for some of the day. Well appointed kitchen and clothes washer was much appreciated after many dusty days of travel. Owners were gracious hosts and very keen to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Easy access to bojarnes and a great place to use as base camp for exploring the snaefulnes peninsula or just doing a creative retreat.

Charming house with all the amenities we needed to enjoy our stay and get a feel of the local way of life. The place has a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, dryer and a private hot tub! We were two families with kids and there was more than enough space for us to feel comfortable.

Jennifer Jungtinės Amerikos Valstijos

This was an exceptionally beautiful spot to find! I felt like it was a special opportunity to see the nature of a lava field, right next to a crater! We watched the sunset from the hot tub and slept so comfortably. It was great for my teens, who each had their own room after a week of much time together! We loved the photos on the walls. The house seems secluded, but is close to the road (but you can’t hear cars) and convenient to many locations. I would live here! Many thanks for the stay.

This was our first night outside of Reykjavik. So for urban dwellers this fits the in the middle of nowhere description. It’s wonderful hideout with snow covered mountains in the distance. Well equipped kitchen and outdoor BBQ.

Aiškiai iškomunikuota informacija dėl atvykimo, nors nakvynės vieta pakankamai nuošali. Namelis pakankamai erdvus, virtuvė patogi naudoti, yra visi reikalingi indai, įranga ir įrankiai. Nors namelis buvo švariai sutvarkytas, visgi jau viskas gerokai padėvėta, nugyventa ir norėtųsi atnaujinimo. Jacuzzi nesinaudojome; informacija apie tai, kad vandens nereikia nei išleisti, nei įleisti, mūsų neįtikino higieniniu požiūriu :(
