It’s in a beautiful location and the cottage is comfortable, charming, and has everything you need. Rachel, Henry, and their dogs are delightful, friendly, and helpful. One more night and we might have even win over Pixie! The Lavender Cottage is definitely on my list of places I’d like to go back to. Thank you, Rachel and Henry! It was beautiful. In quiet surroundings. The property was clean and tastefully decorated + well maintained. Host super friendly and helpful. We were very grateful for the welcome pack as we hadn't had chance to get any essentials en-route. This was a thoughtful and kind welcome. The dogs weren't forgotten either. They had their own little bag of goodies to enjoy. It was equipped with everything you might need on a weekend/short break plus more!

It had everything we needed, was at a great location, easy for buses, good parking, great mattresses. Utility room with another sink, washing machine etc Everything is set out well and was great for the 10 of us to share. I would use this property again and recommend it to anyone. The property owners were very thoughtful in putting heating on ready for us as was a cold weekend and really made sure we were ok. We brought a dog with us and the property is most definitely dog friendly.

Bed was super comfortable and we loved the access to the farm animals. Lisa very kindly left fresh eggs, milk and muffins (+ oil, tea, coffee, sugar etc) for us. My kids loved the playground and the hot tub topped it all off. Great pub 8 mins walk and it has a playground.
