The highlight are the personable and skilled naturalists who lead the tours. We enjoyed a mangrove tour, bird watching walks and a forest night walk all excellent. Being adjacent to a national park there is also abundant wildlife. The pool and lounge areas are lovely.

The fact that we have been here 3 times, should speak for itself. The rooms are modest and the nature around it, is unbelievable. Breakfast with monkeys and Tucans will be unforgettable. The owner is very forthcoming, he even took the time to help us with our car troubles.TimGermany

My room was light and spacious and the property is really beautiful, with tonnes of animals. Walter and Rosy are fantastic hosts who have been in Golfito for decades. I also found Golfito itself to be surprisingly charming. There is a bay, surrounded by jungle clad hillsides and lots of old wooden buildings from the American banana company - it feels like the setting of a novel.
