The stay here was just amazing! The house is very spacious with the right mix of history plus modern amenities present to cater to all needs. The biggest advantage is the location as it is right in the middle of Hallstatt just a 2 min walk from the ferry stop and 5-10 min walks from all the major attractions. Chris is also really nice, responsive and accommodating host! :)

I don't even know where to start with this place! First off, pics don't do it justice. The property is much nicer and larger than it looks. There's a playhouse with slide and rope swing for kids, a huge trampoline (that my kids spent most of their time on) and an awesome firepit, which we used every night! The house is large with plenty of space for 5 people. Rooms are large and beds were very comfortable. The owners were SO accommodating with everything they provided in the house and on the property! Our kids LOVED all the toys! It is so uncommon to find accommodations like that for kids, it's always much appreciated!! The only thing I could recommend is a fan! We generally travel w/fans (because we're always hot lol) this time we forgot! But, it is common for most accommodations in Europe to not provide them- just a suggestion, doesn't affect your stay here lol. The property offers everything you need!! We had such an incredible time! The walk into town is less than 15 min if you're fast walkers like we are! You can go either way out of the driveway, we preferred taking the right direction across the bridge, a bit prettier! There are beautiful trails and waterfalls within 30 min of the house, go, it's so pretty! The mountains are SO gorgeous, do the salt mine, especially if you have kids- it's a super easy walk into town (my kids are 6&8 for reference). I can't recommend this place enough, it was so perfect- location, house, property, everything!! Highly recommend!!

Location was amazing. Beautiful views and location was very easy and close to access the things we wanted to do. The house was very cosy and felt homely. Kids loved the kid friendly room with toys to use. The house had everything we needed and was well equipped. We felt like we were staying in a friends or family home. It was very welcoming. Again the view was outstanding. We felt it was great value.

loved the upstairs suite, really spacious and plenty of wardrobe space, and a balcony, lovely bathroom and jacuzzi bath. it was so close to town so a great location and close to all the things we wanted to visit. perfect position for a visit to Hallstatt.

Everything was exceptional. Nicole and Michael at reception was the best people to provide seamless experience and help in everything. Area & property, facilities all were amazing. A must place to visit. Small grocery shop at reception had almost all what is required for short stay. Pizzeria just minutes walk away and a restaurant is next to reception. Check in to check out was very smooth . Overall it was an amazing experience would love to go back again and recommend to everyone.
