Our whole stay felt very warm. The staff, the room, and the food exceeded all of our expectations. We had a great time doing the game drives. The reserve is so beautiful, with great animals roaming around happily. I think the highlight of the stay was the staff and the service so much warmth and love. Definitely the peak of our honeymoon trip. Oh yeah and the food is so so good!!!

Mossel Bay is a beautiful city, not overcrowded, it makes a perfect vacation to relax and recharge. The only challenge is public transport, Uber & Bolt are almost non-existent, it's mostly private taxis that you have to call and they are always busy, making the waiting time a bit longer. I would recommend you come with your own car or you hire one, you'll enjoy the place even more without transport inconveniences.
Overall, it's a beautiful place with more than enough to offer visitors.

Charming with some lovely boutique shops.
Charming with some lovely boutique shops. At the far end a great hiking opportunity around st Blaize point followed by a refreshing dip in the sea gully. Unfortunately couldn’t do the zip line as it was too windy. Nor the shark diving for the same reason.
Great padel court on the sea front.
Great bagels at jacks on the Main Street
Dinner at gannet was good.
Amazing bbq in the harbour and very reasonable.
Try the oyster shots next door.
Don’t visit the aquarium!

Visiting the ATKV near by in Hartenbos has great facilities for both adults and children. A visit to the Langeberg Mall is a must to shopping and dining.
A visit to Diaz Beach with its long stretch of white sand and a visit to the Zipline which is the biggest over the ocean in the whole world at the Point is a must

its a lovely bay, specially Santos beach, 2/3 top class restaurants in mossal bay, nice shopping mall as well/
.
2 restaurants we used were kingfisher and café gannet which was exceptional in everything.
We stayed in the apartment 200m from the main Guest House - it was a great space, with fabulous views overlooking Santos Beach. The room itself had air con, fan, v comfy bed and a garage to park our car.
The breakfast was served in the main guest house - which was plentiful of yoghurt, fruit, cooked breakfast, pastries and cereals.
A short walk down the hill you could be on the beach or a short drive down into Mossel Bay town.
The shuttle service offered was a great touch for ease too (thanks to Paul!)
We had a good room, convenient for the restaurant and breakfast area, and the pool. Staff were friendly and cheerful. And the breakfast was fantastic. We had a very good meal in the Gannet Restaurant one evening. It was a short walk to the Old Harbour and beach. And it was a two minute walk to the really interesting Mossel Bay museum where we spent an enjoyable few hours. We had parking immediately outside the hotel entrance. We also did their gin tasting one evening - highly recommended!
Amazing view, beautifully renovated with wonderful taste, everything top quality - from towels to products in the rooms. I felt like I was staying in a lovely gspa/hotel. Owners are fabulous - so helpful & very interesting . They prepared an amazing breakfast too. By far one the nicest place I stayed in on this SA trip. This guest house is modern, clean, and very comfortable too. I had a private balcony from my room with the most amazing view of Mossel Bay.
It´s a family hotel and it is absoutely amazing what those guys are doing there
They are all so warm and friendly it fells like you always knew them. They call you by your name from the very start and everything is flawless. From the food to the ammenities.
Then there are the safaris, lot of wildlife to see. We saw some stuff (no spoillers here) we did not see even in Krugger
The rangers are awesome too.
Could not recomend more.
Amazing location on the beach, with breathtaking views of the ocean. The area feels very safe, not even having those ridiculous fences around houses so typical of SA. There are a few restaurants within 25-30 min walk along the beach. Interiors full of light. The main hall is beautifully designed and spacious. The host lady was very welcoming and accommodating!
Location near beach
Clean pool
Clean beach
Helpful reception
Friendly staff
Parking Consideration for physically challenged persons.
Maintenance and TV support team most helpful and pleasant.
When matters were raised, the hotel addressed it immediately.
Lifesavers on Diaz beach are exceptional.
The quietness in the evenings with the sounds of frogs and crickets were awsome.
Woken up by the sound of guinea-fowl was just as nice.
Although not on the beach front, access to beaches and shops were easy and quick.
The property is well equiped and comfortable.
Very friendly owner, Mercia. Comfortable stay. Pity it was only the 1 night, but as a traveler at such a great rate the facility is well maintained, clean. I would recommend it to every backpacker travelling and experiencing Mossel Bay at a cost effective way.
Unreal location. Right on the beach. We had the presidential suite. Huge with a hot tub overlooking the sea. We sat in watching whales jumping and blowholes. Fabulous breakfast also outside with amazing view.
Was one of the most unusual stays we have ever had. Train basically parked up on the beach.
Amazing when u think about it.. we booked royal carriage. Which is decent size etc.....
Pet Friendly. Self Catering Unit. Super Location. GREAT Views. Right on the beach with easy beach access. Easy Access Parking. Close to the Mall, Shopping centers and Restaurants.
The staff! Everyone was so nice. The food! Our meal was delicious. The hotel! All the rooms are so interesting and fun to look at. Definitely a cool experience.
