Enjoyed our stay. Attended the "Cry Witch' trial which was very entertaining and realistic. Performers did a great job. Also went on
the Haunted Williamsburg one hour tour and heard some great ghost stories from the past.
The Jamestown Scotland Ferry, then the short drive to Smithfield was a nice experience. Ferry runs 24 hrs and is free. Approx. 20 min. ride. Smithfield was interesting with nice shops and places to dine.

This is the third time we have visited and stayed in Williamsburg. We enjoy the vibe there. I have genealogies from the Jamestown community, and similar interests in Norfolk City, Portsmouth and Newport News.
Williamsburg makes for a nice hub to access all those places, and the hotel prices and amenities there are appreciated. Staying at some of the in-town venues can be quite pricey; the Comfort Suites is a nice example of good value. Dave

Dined at various restaurants where the establishments were very clean and the food was good. Driving around Williamsburg is very easy. We also took a drive down to the ferry to Surry Seafood restaurant. This is a great little restaurant right on the water (river). We continued to Smithfield where we enjoyed the museums and many shops, boutiques. Ice cream parlor near the museum had great ice cream.

Overall, Williamsburg was a beautiful city to visit.
Overall, Williamsburg was a beautiful city to visit. Definitely coming back! Trash and liter always takes away from the overall appearance of a city, community and country. Rarely saw so much trash while visiting overseas. In America 🇺🇸 way too much.

I loved Williamsburg, but then I love history and architecture, art, shopping and good food. I live in Northern Virginia, and the food is pretty dreadful. Everything I ate in Williamsburg was really good--such a nice change.
I enjoyed shopping in Colonial Williamsburg and in New Town. I had a great time, and I'll be back.

The historic city is like our second home.
The historic city is like our second home. We go there at least twice a year. We no longer through the buildings because we've been in each one multiple times, but love walking around the streets. It would be nice for CW to offer a bus pass separate from the admission ticket for a minimal price, just in case you've seen all the buildings but want to get from the visitor center to the town.
The room was exactly what we were hoping for. Good size, and we really appreciated the kitchenette with microwave, sink, and fridge, it was even stocked with paper towels. Very little noise from other rooms. Breakfast was particularly excellent on the week days. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The discount on the room made it a reasonable value for the area. It was an easy drive to get from the hotel to downtown Williamsburg.
The location is perfect! it’s a 10 min walk to Colonial Williamsburg. So you can park your car in there and then go for a nice stroll.
The breakfast was delicious, but not enough, it would be perfect if they added some oatmeal or cereals.
The room was cozy, I was afraid it would be cold at night but it wasn’t.
Bed comfortable.
Cleaning.
They offer some snacks (cereal bars and chocolate) and you can have tea or coffee 24/7.
We found the Griffin Hotel to be a peaceful place to stay, with beautifully appointed spacious rooms complete with large balconies/patios, and wonderfully landscaped grounds with plenty of paths and areas to relax. The refrigerator and dining area on the balcony were plusses. The location, within an easy walk of Colonial Williamsburg, and the ability to leave our car there for the day, made everything much easier.
I really enjoyed the location of the hotel. It was close to lots of activities in the Williamsburg area ie.. outlet, Busch gardens, eateries, winery and spas. The staff was very attentive and responsive to all request. We visited during the pandemic, but the breakfast accommodations were suitable for that time. Room and all areas of the hotel were clean.
Beds, bathroom, tv, fridge, microwave: complete, functional. More spacious than average motel room, well designed layout. Walls are thin but the hotel wasn’t crowded and with (calm) families only. Quiet at night, powerful airco. Location is good, nearby Colonial Williamsburg and downtown area
We stayed here after our original plans fell through. I am so glad they did. The hotel was beyond our expectations. The property is located in a beautiful wooded area, the room was a nice size and the staff were welcoming! I would definitely stay here again.
The location is perfect. Close to many excellent restaurants and shops. You can easily drive to Colonial Williamsburg in five minutes. The facilities are clean and the bed was comfortable. The building itself could use an update, especially the bathrooms.
I liked that the rooms are like apartments with space to spread out. The fireplace is our room actual worked and that was cozy for a Jan evening. The pool was large! The hotel is super close to Busch Gardens and the historic village of Williamsburg.
The staff is friendly. The room is clean, comfortable, and everything works. The bed is very comfortable. The location is good, near I64 but no traffic noise. This is fast becoming my favorite hotel in Williamsburg. It is adjacent to Water Country.
My room was great! So comfortable and clean and inviting. I loved the pool and the firepit! Everyone at check in was so helpful and pleasant! The location of the resort to Colonial Williamsburg was about 5 minutes and maybe 10 to Busch Gardens.
The entire facility looked great until we walked in the hotel room. Very dated and run down. Centipedes in bathroom. Otherwise lobby, restaurant, pool areas, and other facilities were very clean and welcoming. Staff was very friendly
Location is the main sell here. It's less than 10 mins from colonial Williamsburg. It's a budget hotel so you know what you're getting: standard room with standard beds. But it was clean and quiet.
Staff was great rooms were clean. Very nice place to stay. My wife and I come to Williamsburg about twice a year and have stayed in a lot of different hotels. This is a great place
